NCAA Tournament Games 2025

Post by azcat49 »

Wow, Alabama St pulls a McMiracle to beat St Francis 70-68. I think this is going to be a very unpredictable tournament

Auburn though will beat them by 30 at least. Up next, North Carolina San Diego St. go Aztecs

How can anyone watch this UNC/San Diego St. game and tell me with a straight face that the tournament needs to expand?

That Alabama St. finish was amazing though.

NC looks legit and deserving of a bid tonight but SDST looks abysmal. Now I question why they got in.

Yeah I mean they were 5th in the MWC, don't care how good UNC looks I still think they suck. They got lucky to even make it in as a play in team and were given a favorable matchup. Funny how that works out.

Tournament results never justify wether or not a team deserves to be in the tournament.

This. Has nothing to do with it and misses the point.

Having said that, NC can easily win the Mississippi game.

To be fair, it has only been 11 states in total since 1997.

But still it sucks...

Been a "4" seed three times; 1 NC, 2 first round losses (Oklahoma, '99, & Buffalo. '18)...

But we only had a 4-4 record over our last 8 games before the tournament in one of those seasons.

Well, in '97, we beat a 13 seed, then a 12 seed (In the last minute) before we faced the clear #1 seed (KU)

After KU we beat a 10 seed, in OT!!!

A 13, a 12 & a 10 would be nice this year. though Duke will/would not be a cakewalk....

Mt St Mary’s is shooting 60% from the field and American is at 56% from the field and 53% from three. This has been a very entertaining game so far

Wish the refs would let things go a bit more. Half of Xavier's team is going to foul out at this rate. Xavier making some dumb decisions isn't helping either. Hope Sean rips them a new one at half.
