ASU fans were sooooooooo sure they had him. What a lovely treat to wake up to. We've already won today no matter what happens tonight.

BTFD and FUCK ASU!

Great news on the Koa Peat commit…..also saw it on YouTube……Arizona’s highest rated recruit since DeAndre Ayton is impressive! Now let’s get Burries too. Bear Down

I gotta think the prospect of joining this recruiting class has to be appealing for BB. We’d have a top 3 class nationally, and we’d be ranked in the top 10 to begin next season.

Really hope we can land Burries - would be a loaded class; and if we can find a nice transfer piece or two we'd be well positioned for a great season.

So if we are dreaming big I would like to see a couple of transfers even before Burries. Give me Isaac McKneely out of Virginia or Josh Dix. Both elite shooters from 3. There is only one freshman in the top 50 in scoring in the nation besides Cooper Flagg and if I recall correctly none in 3 pt %. The one freshman in the top 50 other than Flagg is the kid from Maryland that just beat Colo State. I think his name is Queen.

McKeenly is the top shooter from 3 in the ACC and Dix I think plays in the big 12. Both battle tested and are a known commodity.

Great pick-up by Tommy and really was a spot where we needed help this year. There is no reason CB and Peat can't play together and both flourish. The 3/4 positions at Ariz are largely interchangeable and it would help them both. Carter needs some weight and seasoning but I hate to think of him spending some time in the G league to further develop rather than developing here.

Yeah, thanks so much….not sure where to post this… ..live in a hi-rise 22nd floor……wife was terrified and we hugged under our marble table as our 8 cats freaked out, saying our final goodbyes for 2 minutes of sheer terror then all was ok other than property damage. evacuations, first responders, etc. Got back in by night with water and power and alive……my poor neighbors in the 50 floor next door have no water. Thankful to be here right now……and this makes the Duke loss a lot easier to swallow ha ha, not really. BTFD and thanks again.

Sounds scary as shit. Glad you’re ok.

If there is a group that’s there that is helping with recovery, let us know. Maybe a few of us BDW’ers can help them out with some donations.

Glad to hear your building did well in the quake. One highrise building to the next can be a lottery of sorts. They all have their flaws. Evacuations aren't a walk in the park either, are they. What a day that must have been. Seriously? 8 cats?!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and although wife didn’t sleep last night, still scared, we are all fine and just going to have to get some things fixed…..could have been so much worse.

And yes 8 cats! Way too many but my wife is a sucker for a hard luck kitten story so after the last 2 rescues we said enough right before Covid hit. Our oldest is about to turn 21 on April Fools day, no joke. We are blessed. Prayers for all those who died and suffered much worse than us…….

PS. Ha ha, What a day for me: Coffee, Koa Peat (yeah!), Duke (bummed but proud), Earthquake (2 minutes of terror), Now (every day is a blessing). Bear Down and thanks for all your Wildcat Love……right back at you!

Wish I could positively rate this post 25x. Glad you, your wife and the kitties are ok. I absolutely loved BKK and hope to return again someday. My heart breaks for all affected. Those videos are terrifying, but I can’t stop watching them. My wife and I were in a very small earthquake right under a rooftop pool in Puerto Vallarta this winter. Hearing that water slosh around was freaky enough for us. May you continue to be safe.

Bummer about KJ, but what does that mean recruiting wise now? Guess it’s too early to tell…..anyone else expected to transfer?

Scheer expects a few more. I think in this day and age pretty much every big program loses a few guys every year.
