However, Smith should not have the green light to shoot. He is the one player who can shoot the team into a loss with his poor shot choice.

The NBA drafts on potential........so he is probably still 1st round material. If anyone indicates that they will draft him in the 1st he needs to jump into the draft ASAP. Sticking around a 2nd/3rd year might expose his physical limitations even more.........dropping him even further in a future draft.
Now, if by some miracle he drops to a projected 2nd round pick.........then he might want to consider returning. I still think he goes in the 1st round

I've learned my lesson. I listen to Tune-In radio which is delayed by +/_ 2 minutes. The eidetic torment persists for me so I opt for the aural.
