When you posted this, for a second I thought it meant we were in it, and I was stunned.

If we lose you ASU and in the first round of the PAC 12...yeah we probably aren't in the NIT.

Up until a few years ago you needed a .500 conference record to qualify. I think this year we get in based on pedigree alone.

Are people really going to be all that pissed if we miss the NIT? As far as I'm concerned, the Pac tourney is the last stand. Postseason NIT feels like a series of exhibition games.

I think the more games for the younger guys the better.

That's true, and I'll continue to watch any games we're playing. This season has just been such a tough pill -- so dramatically out of character for this program -- that I'm a little anxious to turn the page and get to 2019-20.

If we beat ASSU and we win a couple in vegas that would put us 21-6 with our full healthy roster. I would want to see them play in a tourney and see how they do

How do you feel about resting Jeter for 10 days and going 10-1?

I would accept that trade

I just want Jeter back -- healthy -- for next season. Whatever happens the next couple weeks doesn't concern me so much.

Umm, almost took my flag down today. Not sure which is worse, having to watch it fly or taking it down this early. Not sure I will fill out a bracket this year. I remember when my first born was not 1 yet, I printed out the icons from the ESPN site for all the teams, put them on post it notes and Eli and I filled out our brackets together, Eli picked Arizona to win. So did I. I just showed him the two icons and he would slap one of them and he picked all 67 games, he actually beat me that year.
That was the Gordon year. That was a good one.

Lunardi has 3 Pac-12 teams in the tournament. Never thought that would happen when conference play began.

So does Bracket Matrix. Washington at 9 seed and Oregon and ASSu at 11 seeds.

To me, from my eye test, Oregon would be a 6, ASSU an 8 and UDub a 9. In any event it is going to be hard for the conference to get any wins this year.

Assuming the four #1 seeds would be Duke, North Carolina, Michigan St(assuming they win today)and Gonzaga

I saw an article saying Oregon would be an 11, which is insane considering they weren't even on the bubble before. Down to a 12 on matrix.

Curious to see how LSU gets screwed this year for the FBI stuff.

Is ASU going to get to stay in the West with UDub and Oregon getting shipped out? Play-in game? Or are they out?

Looks like the West 11 play-in will be two out of TCU, St John's, and asu. Hoping hoping hoping

On paper, I really like our chances in the first game. Our opponent has not beat anyone at all this year.

I just did one, but it was entirely unexciting. Duke is the clear favorite, imo. A Duke/UNC title game is very possible.

Such a weird feeling knowing your season is already over, zero excitement about march madness. I miss the usual selection sunday under Miller where we get to find out which midmajor is going to beat us in the first weekend, lol

Yeah except for the majority of the seasons where that didn't happen. Namely 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017.

Objectively speaking the brackets, matchups and teams in them kinda suck this year.

I’m supposed to care about the #1 ACC teams and underperforming zags, mich st, and Kansas?

Minnesota vs Louisville is the backstory matchup of interest?

So blah.

It will be sort of nice not having to care. I'm usually nervous about how our future matchups look. This year, I feel like I can just watch and enjoy.

Other than Duke and ASU losing, I don't care about any of the other 66 teams.

Agree. Duke is the favorite but there are like 10 teams that could win it. As long as ASU loses early and Duke gets knocked out in the sweet 16 or earlier, there's nothing else to really watch for or care about.
