That was a terribly coached 4th quarter all around but we also had 2 stupid turnovers that should have never happened.

Fucking coaches calling for (failed) 2 point conversions early in the game? Even with the atrocious defensive play calling in the 4th quarter, that was the difference in the game. But going, basically, into a prevent defense for the whole 4th quarter? REALLY? The defense was doing a good job rushing 4 (or more) for 3 quarters. Then you abandon that? Fuck this coaching staff. JUST FUCK THEM!!

Bottom line, this is a very poorly coached team. And some very low IQ football players to boot.

I’m sorry. This is shit coaching. Period. No way around it. After more than 40 years of hoping and pretending, I can’t imagine investing another dime or hour in this program.

I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. This is against our rivals and for some reasson we think they will stop playing. I've watched Az. play for a long time and I have a hard time remembering where we had a worse defense and worse defensive coach. If we would have just played a straight up defense....never mind. I'm disheartened.

Our defense gives up 69 points last week and we start trying to run clock with 12 minutes to go. Stupid!

Said it since the Houston game: This is the stupidest Arizona football team ever.

Sumlin's defense of his 2-point attempts was ridiculous. "The 'statistics' said go for it, we had to get to an even number".....uhh, what?

I AM a statistician, have been for my entire career, and that is one of the most moronic things I've ever heard with "statistics". There are two time-tested truisms about going for 2 after a touchdown. #1 don't chase points before the 4th quarter, you might very well regret it later. Still true to this day. #2 If you have a play that you are sure has an over 50% chance of success, then go for it. But did either of those plays look like they even had a 10% chance of success? Those were horrible play calls that had no chance.

Also, can't stand Tate's smart ass comment, and lack thereof, at the post-game presser. "We had bad luck in the 4th quarter"........if you screwing up with a horrific interception and botching an easy handoff with Taylor is bad luck, yeah I guess we had bad luck. When a reporter asked him specifically about the interception, he couldn't respond like a man, just sat there with smug smirk on his face. He's talented, but extremely immature. Hope he grows up next year.

Yeah that press conference from the players was weird, made me squirm a bit. That's one tape to throw away.
