I've watched Arky a few times and have not been impressed. This game hasn't changed my mind although they are really physical

Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
St John’s been held up as prove that a poor shooting team can be a good team if they play stifling D.
March Madness likes to prove that wrong.
Hope our staff is drawing up an amazing plan for tomorrow.

Come on Tech. We all know you're better than this.

Texas Tech is playing a lot of iso ball. That is not a recipe for success unless you are Michael Jordan.

The monkey picks. If I could figure out how to get my dogs to make picks I would.
With 10th-seeded Arkansas’ win over No. 2 seed St. John’s on Saturday, there are now 23 perfect brackets out of 34 million, according to the NCAA. That’s 0.0000006% of all brackets, so, yeah, perfection is almost gone.

Drake is impressive… Tech playing well and Drake is not going away
Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
I've now seen two March Madness ads with Colorado fans in them. How did they manage that with how shit their team was all year?

And this is why I'm glad we got Oregon instead of Michigan. Not that tomorrow will be easy, but we are pretty familiar with them at least.

Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
Both Iowa State and snd us are playing B1G teams who certainly looks like the best league this year based upon tournament performance

I think Michigan was really under seeded.

Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
Tech is too damn tough. If the media would've stopped sucking off the SEC and Big 10 they would've known that.

I always root for teams where I have no idea what state the university is in.
Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
Creighton has a small campus in central Phoenix so last night one of the news was calling them the "third team from Arizona" in the tournament, and they weren't talking about assuMerkin wrote: Sat Mar 22, 2025 5:16 pmI always root for teams where I have no idea what state the university is in.

BYU game getting chippy - if it wasn’t against Wiscy then I’d be rooting against BYU
Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
It isn't like the Razorbacks shoot well from 3. I pointed out in another thread that St.John's was shooting 31% from 3 after three games shooting over 40%. Before that they were in the high twenties. St. John's should have never been a 2 seed.Djcat wrote: Sat Mar 22, 2025 2:26 pm St John’s been held up as prove that a poor shooting team can be a good team if they play stifling D.

Surprised Gonzaga is keeping it as close as they are.
