Nah there's no time cut off issue at work here. Caleb Love is either going to go pro via the NBA (G League) or he's going to return to Arizona. He's not looking at overseas as an option as of today. If this were before the NIL era then overseas would likely be a predominant option for him, but today he can make overseas money at a place he's very comfortable at and at a level he's very successful at. NIL makes Arizona a no brainer pick over overseas today.

According to Scheer and Luke’s podcast on YouTube, the coaching staff would be “shocked” if Sanon enrolls and plays at UofA. That statement did not seem to give any reference to which class he ends up in. Apparently his dad/agent is telling different stories (in the same day) about his recruitment depending on who is asking. Shady parents/agents are a no for me.

My personal thoughts are that we get Caleb back this year and never see Sanon in an Arizona jersey.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Veesaar not as a center but a stretch 4. I think that is where he will play more than center.

It's a little hard to under- or overestimate Veesaar given how little we've actually seen him play!

I'd be very surprised if Phillips plays much next year and I sure wouldn't bet on Veesaar getting any minutes, but I guess it's possible.

Bradley, Love, Lewis, Townsend, Krivas, Dell'Orso, Bryant, Awaka will get all the minutes in games that matter. This also depends on if we do land Miles Kelly in the portal or not as well.

Haha it's ok, we were offering him a bench role and he's from Georgia. Wasn't exactly a homerun type recruitment for us with the role we had available.

I don't know about anything else in the works in regards to recruits, although I know if we can land Will Riley in 2024 we will definitely be all for that. I'm not sure any other option is on the plate with what Tommy has going on this week. All I know is what is about to be announced isn't anything that will hurt Arizona short term or long term.

Jamari Phillips signed his NLI. Unless the rules have changed, you cannot get released from your NLI unless the head coach has changed.

Since it won't affect this upcoming season maybe it's something to do with Tommy coaching the U18s with 2025 recruits?
