It's always a good day when another whiny ass Hurley loses.
Surprised Baylor played Duke so tough in the first half. It was fun for awhile at least.

Hurley put the curse on Baylor. And the tourney gods jumped at the chance to fuck Hurley twice in one day .... at Baylor's expense.

So if UK wins, Boz is out. Other than our guys, only Fili B and Murauskis are still in it. Have I got that right?

Seems like some better games today so far - was humorous to see Boz have a good game and the announcers talk him up a bit (knowing what we know here)
Colo St. looking good but wheels might be coming off here

Wouldn't be shocked if Arkansas is the last double digit seed left at the end of tonight.

Iowa St. needs to get their shit together. Way too good to be playing this bad.

I don’t understand the Lady Gaga tie in. The song doesn’t even make sense as some kind of anthem about perseverance or striving for excellence.

I can't believe they're airing the Dan Hurley post game like we're supposed to feel sorry for someone who just won back to back titles.

Sweet 16 Conference Breakdown:
SEC - 7
Big 10 - 4
Big 12-4
ACC- 1
I know we were trying to downplay the SEC with some early losses... but 7 teams in the sweet 16 is crazy
But good to see Big 12 is right there with Big 10

Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
iowa St. is the only disappointing loss. We all knew Baylor wasn't beating Duke and Kansas wouldn't last long, but I really didn't see the Cyclones going down this soon after how tough they were all year long.

Yeah... but still maybe the most surprising outcome of the tourney so far IMO was them absolutely getting killed tonight by MissChicat wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 9:57 pmInjuries and fatigue caught up with them.AZCatGirl wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 9:55 pm iowa St. is the only disappointing loss. Did not see that happening
Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
The game-winner by Maryland's Green to beat Colorado State (my grandson graduates from CSU in May) was devastating for me...
..and, as all too often, I was disappointed that UNM still hasn't made it to its first Sweet 16.

Apparently if you have the ball only in one hand after picking up your dribble you can take as many steps as you want.cpt wrote: Mon Mar 24, 2025 8:22 amThe commentary after the game on CBS was ridiculous. If taken literally, he wouldn't call travelling on a player running down the court juggling the ball....

In case you were wondering if UConn was embarrassed by Hurley’s postgame tirade…
So essentially, UConn is a bag of dicks. So glad Hurley is watching at home alongside his shitheel brother. Fuck them both, and their schools.UConn's director of communications Bobby Mullen reportedly threatened to "ruin" the reporter's life if he did not remove the video of Hurley's rant about the refs.

Re: NCAA Tournament Games 2025
Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere in the 5 active threads with tourney chat, but do any of you know if the Fri/Sun teams from the 1st weekend have ever switched to Thurs/Sat for the S16 weekend before this year (similar for the Thurs/Sat slot)? Seems like if you were in the Thurs/Sat slot opening weekend you stayed there until the FF weekend. Duke/AZ get 2 less days to rest & prepare than Houston/Purdue for example, who both played on Sat and don't play again until this Friday...
I was assuming AZ was going to play again Fri this week. Now I can't even watch the game!
