Poindexter is a 6-5, 210, Junior receiver from Glendale CC and Centennial HS, Peoria, AZ. A late addition to the class, Poindexter was brought in to give our receiving corps some height. Poindexter played in 10 games last year and made 47 receptions for 727 yards and scored 7 TDs and was named 1st team All-ACCAC and 2nd team All-WSFL. As a senior in high school he made 21 catches for 398 yards and 7 TDs and lost to Ironwood Ridge in the DII state championship.
Poindexter has been impressive in camp and both players and coaches have commented on his playmaking ability and what a difficult cover he is. He will be pushing to start as an outside receiver and will be a big part of the receiver rotation.
