Re: Former Cats in the League
It means that Poindexter is exposed to waivers and can be picked up by any team (not likely). When he clears injury waivers, he can either reach a settlement with the team and become a free agent, or he reverts to the team's injured reserve and gets paid a pro-rated part of his salary until he is ab...

Now, 11 ex-Cats in camp after 49ers waived/injured Shawn Poindexter. The season-opening number might be around 7 or 8.

I think we would have beaten BYU if Freikh and/or Eldridge could have played. The Oline play has obviously improved with Freikh back. Sucks because it's going to be tough to dig out of that hole and make something of this season even with two wins in a row. Freikh has pretty much doing something go...

Seems like a good enough place to drop this, since Sumlin talked generally about Nathan Tilford and Michael Eletise today, which got me thinking about other recent 4-stars. Don't know. I'm sure Miller can find something for him as a student assistant or such, but -- at first glance -- I doubt if he could be a guy on the bench or travel squad after he is presumably moved onto a medical-retirement scholarship.

AG, I noticed even though you slotted them at the 5 traditional positions, that is basically a 3-guard lineup. Has Miller talked about using a 3-guard lineup lately?
