I prefer getting the little cheeseburger at Five Guys, and by little they really mean normal. Keeps it less greasy that way. The regular cheeseburger is a double. Bun:meat ratio should be 2:1 for a burger. Or if you're feeling frugal, get the regular and ask for an extra bun to make two less-sloppy burgers. The seasoned fries are great too, I can down a brown bag of those no problem.

Looks like they wanted to concentrate on just the fast food chains. The kind of places that usually have a drive thru. Red Robin is more of a sit down, order, and wait type of place like Chili's, Applebees, etc.

I've never ordered anything from the In n Out "secret" menu. Just the standard double double with onion. No light salt or extra frying or animal style or protein or any of that. Just the standard. And it is the best.

Culvers is my second favorite though (neck and neck with Whataburger btw).

I often butter my buns (hamburger buns that is) and put them on the grill. Real butter of course.

See, and I originally thought that. But why are Bob's Big Boy, Johnny Rockets, and Fuddruckers on there then? Those are all sit down and some actually slower than Red Robin.

I feel like Johnny Rockets and Fudruckers are still in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant - aka: "Fast Food") category while Red Robin and Bob's Big Boy are in the Fast Casual (sit down table service) category.

There were a couple Fatburgers in the Phoenix area that went out of business. According to their website two casinos in Phoenix have them now.

Yeah, there used to be a Fatburger out at Desert Ridge in north Phoenix on Tatum. Ate one after a late night of teaching, and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't worth the price even with the half-off coupon.

As far as fast food... I would say Whataburger is among the better ones. I did have an Asada Burger at Ziva's in Tucson the last time I was there... not your typical burger place but it was amazing!!

Also, In-N-Out is solid, but definitely not as good as its made out to be. However, I also dont eat McDonalds or any of that shit.

I mainly eat at local burger restaurants. If you come to San Diego, dont miss Hodad's.

A couple of weeks ago we stayed at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. When my wife and I went out to dinner with the group at Risky Business my son stayed at the resort and ordered room service. He ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a coke for the incredibly low price of $32.00. It was the best burger I've ever tasted though.

Shake Shack opened up on Central Ave/Camelback last week in Phoenix. I found the burgers high quality, the custard shakes are good but very expensive, and they serve beer and wine. I might go back on rare occasions, but my favorite place is still Habit Burger Grill.

Blake's Lotaburger opening April 1st in Tucson. I grew up on Blake's in Albuquerque. Will be stopping by for sure next time I am in town.

Folks in Tucson, Arizona, will soon know what a Lotaburger is. Blake's Lotaburger will open its first Arizona location there on April 1, expanding its burger empire to three states.

The restaurant is famous for its green chile Lotaburger, breakfast burritos and seasoned fries, but you don't have to tell New Mexicans that — the company has 75 locations throughout the state.

Last year, we reported Blake's Lotaburger originally planned to open its first Tucson location by midsummer. The company already has plans to open its second Tucson location by the end of May.

The Illinois tradition of the smashburger that the chain Smashburger is based on has blown my mind. You drive out to these really old burger stands in these small towns and experience those perfectly built cheeseburgers, with their patties smashed thin so they caramelize into crispy "meat chips" at the edges, which unites with the melted cheese to become amazing perfection.

Shake Shack is so expensive it's crazy. Their custard shakes are over $5 for a small cup. A regular cheeseburger is over $5. A 16 oz draft beer is over $5. Only Five Guys has prices that outrageous.

I ate there in Manhattan years and years ago. I had no idea they had become a chain until your post and I googled it.
