The refs fucked that Miami ending right in the asshole.
- Missed an obvious block in the back at the 15 yard line on like the third lateral.
- Missed a blatant knee down before a lateral
- Called a block in the back on a block that was obviously to the side
- Reviewed the play and took back the block in the back flag, which is not a reviewable part of the play
But it was kind of nice to see Duke get screwed by the refs for once.

Strong needs to be fired. Unfortunately it's such a shit show there isn't even an AD to fire him because that clown had to be fired less than 2 years in.
Is that where you guys are at this point? Only one and a half years in but sometimes that's the way things go and everyone just needs a clean slate.
Kinda like our defensive situation.
Strong is 9-12 with 8 21-plus point losses, including a shutout last night to a team that had given up 50-plus points in each of its last three games. Iowa St. murdered Texas last night. Texas' only play in their territory in the first 58 minutes of the game was an interception.
One of the biggest upsets in recent memory in the mountain west last night. New Mexico won at Boise state as a 30 point underdog. Only the 5th home loss in the last 16 years by Boise state
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
Lots of great noontime games today: snowy Iowa vs Purdue, Michigan at Penn State, and UNC at Virginia Tech

This Iowa-Mich St game is the most physical and intense game I have seen all year. Great, great first half

The Michigan State/Iowa game is really good. Cheering for Iowa because of Matt VandeBerg. This is an epic defensive battle. Three minutes to go and it can go either way.

They put up one HELL of a fight and proved that they were a legit playoff contender.
We'll see how the committee decides, but if it's me - I put Iowa in the Rose Bowl at against Stanford. Ohio State will probably get the nod, but Iowa was <1 min away from the playoff.
AWESOME season. It will take those kids a while to get over the sting of losing tonight... But someday they will look back on this season with a great deal of satisfaction and pride - as they should.
9 minute, 22 play drive to end that Sparty/Iowa game. Longest drive in 2 years.
Kept thinking that Iowa should just let them score to get the ball back with some time on the clock, but then again their offense wasn't really moving so I can see the hesitation with that strategy.

yeah, what a great game. no disrespect to asucatfan or iowa (i'm a fan of and follow their wrestling team), but i'm still not a believer of the hawkeyes. favorable schedule, garbage opponents, boring football, too many squeakers against sub-.500 teams. we'll see how their bowl game goes, though it sucks that they'll probably get passed over for the rose bowl.
Edgar Poe from Cienega,HS, Tucson is the Army receiving attack at the Army-Navy game. Always a great game and big time play by a Tucson kid makes it even better.

Four Cienega kids dressed out for the game.
Daniel Gonzales starts at MLB for Navy.
Edgar's little brother Christian (Army) and Luke Holley (Navy) on bench.
