Re: Chris Singletary to join staff?
Looks like a good addition, Rich Rod has done a complete 180 when it comes to trying to bring talent to town and I am loving it. If the team of recruiters he has put together can not get the job done, it is safe to say Arizona will never be able to recruit at a high level.

RichRod ain't screwing around when it comes to upgrading recruiting.

Pleased as punch but it begs the question, what has RR so motivated?
1) he thought he would have easy success at AZ and get loads of offers and bolt asap?
2) he applied #1 above and when all he got was lateral type programs with no increase in pay he figures if he wants #1 above he needs to get better quick
3) he realizes he loves AZ and has decided he wants his words to match his actions, that AZ can be the best football program in the US. Why not AZ

I'm guessing it's 1 and 2. But I have no problem with that, as long as Arizona is the beneficiary of some great seasons to get this program really rolling.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Re: Chris Singletary to join staff?
Motivation is this.....his most trusted advisers were yes men. He's tired of that and figured out that he was consistently getting his ass kicked by better talent, not better coaching. Now he wants both. A Zen moment for sure and though four years later, better late than never.

It's easily #3.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

Great move and I think with our new assistants on defense we are saving money compared to what we spent last year so probably room in the budget to add this new recruiting director. Wonder what Dudek's expanded role is going to be

I think he got tired of being the step child of the PAC when it came to recruiting. That and he saw the fan base starting to get restless.
I mean I am not complaining but it must suck for good ugly girls.
