With Oregon being so good and the fix being in, the Cats are screwed.

Well on the bright side the 2nd half should go better.

This got really terrible really fast. The worst is that they just look (again) like they have more fight than we do.
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
Stop blaming the refs. We are getting smashed by a better team right now.

What a ********* embarrassment.
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
Stop grousing about the refs, people. This team has been on its heels since 27-25.
Oregon has taken it to the Cats. What is Arizona going to do about it?

Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
No excuse for things like throwing the ball to the other team on an inbounds pass. That's just careless BS. Act like you want to win this game.

I don't know whom you're referring to, but I've not seen anyone blaming them. Bitching about their shittyness isn't the same as blaming them.billk78 wrote:Stop blaming the refs. We are getting smashed by a better team right now.

Thanks Bill Walton for yet another game in which you are so in love with your own voice, I miss out on many aspects of the action......STFU and let the other guy fill us in more.
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
Halftime commentators just said Cats should just go home now. Wake up.
Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
Our guys keep driving to the hole with this weak ass layups without ever pump faking or putting a move on. Oregon keeps swatting them and it fueled their run. Just lazy all around for us pretty much.

this is bullshit right here. whether or not arizona plays like shit or not, has no bearing on being able to complain about shitty reffing.catgrad97 wrote:Stop grousing about the refs, people. This team has been on its heels since 27-25.

pjc was fucking hammered across the head on that drive before the "t" and not thing 1 was called. and that's just one example.

Id love to come back and wipe the smile off all the ducks smug faces and stick it to the commentators. But where is the offense going to come from? Oregon looks bigger faster, and most importantly, they appear to want it a lot more.AZCatGirl wrote:Lamar doesn't know the team if he thinks the game is over.billk78 wrote:Halftime commentators just said Cats should just go home now. When CSM leaves Arizona, let me know how the refs don't hate Arizona in this conference.
I didn't expect to win this game and we need to gets our heads out of our asses but the reffing is just so one sided. Tarc has 2 touch fouls and Oregon gets to body us up & hand check on every play.

I hope this year has been a learning experience for Sean. No more relying on transfers and you have to have a PG in college basketball.
Don't think I'm going to really miss anyone from this team except for Zeus.

Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
It's the Pac 12. The refs stink every game. They didn't throw the ball to oregon on the inbounds. They aren't the ones allowing uncontested drives to the hoop. And they aren't the ones giving up tons of offensive rebounds. Our players look bad today....bottom line.Spaceman Spiff wrote:The reffing is embarassing. So you're ok with billk78 saying the same thing I am but ny comment is bullshit?
Just the opposite, in fact. There's no way anyone could say otherwise. Quit turning on fans and let's start challenging this team to stop doggin' it on the floor.

We can make all the excuses we want but Ore is a far better than us......they just are.
We play 10 games and they win 7-3/8-2 no problem.
It is what it is.
I expect them to pour it on in the second half for an unimaginable blowout. Miller will be beside himself.

Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
This team is really not athletic so they can't finish or even create enough contact to get the foul call.pokinmik wrote:Our guys keep driving to the hole with this weak ass layups without ever pump faking or putting a move on. Re: Pac-12 Tournament Game 2, vs. Oregon (2015-2016)
That's a bit harsh. Oregon is a horrible matchup for us. By getting grad transfers and turning Kadeem into a somewhat reasonable PG, Miller had this team win a lot more games than they should have, especially considering all the injuries.legallykenny wrote:I hope this year has been a learning experience for Sean. I don't know if we can win, but this team won't just give up and be blown out. Thing 1 can be true.
Thing 2 can be true.
Thing 1 being true can have no bearing on thing 2 being true.
There's no way anyone could say otherwise.
AZ playing like it's playing isn't winning this game, quite obviously, but that has no bearing on the craptastic officiating and being able to point out just how craptastic it is.

Refs have been bad, but we are doing a good enough job of embarrassing ourselves to where u cant even be mad about it. If our guys dont want to get up for a big game like this, and embarrass themselves in the process, I just rather they take their jerseys off and get on the bus.
THIS TEAM JUST DOES NOT GET IT. They never will.

We're stinking it up, but the awfulness of the reffing deserves to be mentioned regardless of whether it's a constant. Our crappiness and the refs crappiness are both fact.billk78 wrote:It's the Pac 12. The refs stink every game. They didn't throw the ball to oregon on the inbounds. cue riseandfeugo to tell us that inbounding the ball to the other team and giving up easy first, second, third shots is not the fault of the players

It's a foul! Oh wait, block.
