TNT is also showing it - floor seems to be much less annoying.
Re: NCAA Tournament Games
They have team streams on TNT and Tru TV.KaibabKat wrote:TNT is also showing it - floor seems to be much less annoying.

Re: NCAA Tournament Games
Wow! I knew Nova was good, but I never expected this. Oklahoma looks completely lost. I thought the game was going to be close. 72-41
Re: NCAA Tournament Games
It will be interesting to see if that was the biggest points to zero points runs we've ever seen in a final four game. I'm pretty sure I saw 22-0 and my guess is it ended higher than that.

Re: NCAA Tournament Games
It was 46-37 with about 16 minutes to go. Next thing I know it was 78-41.
Re: NCAA Tournament Games
Reminds me of the second half of the 2001 semi-final game vs Michigan State. Glad for Jay Wright. Villanova can beat UNC.

Go WILDCATS!
Always liked Villanova and Jay Wright, even after they rocked our world in the second round game a few years back.

My pops went to Nova, so I'm pretty pumped right now.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

The announcers on the Syracuse team stream were the biggest homers I've ever heard.

I really wish the NCAA would put the final 4 back in basketball arenas. If they need to make up the revenue, just double prices or bring back beer sales. 60,000 of the 75,000 people there Saturday had terrible seats. I ended up watching the big screen more than the court.

Re: NCAA Tournament Games
There's homers and homers. They spent the entire second half yelling at refs, rooting for a comeback and talking trash about UNC and its fans.Chicat wrote:Isn't that the point?Spaceman Spiff wrote:The announcers on the Syracuse team stream were the biggest homers I've ever heard.
It was like they let two fans do the broadcast.

Tickets are dirt cheap on the secondary market. Like $60-$100. That does not say "Premiere Event" to me.the real dill wrote:I really wish the NCAA would put the final 4 back in basketball arenas. Neither does airing it on TBS for that matter...

Re: NCAA Tournament Games
This is a really good game.
My crazy daughter (20mo) is cheering incessantly whenever the Tarheels have the ball! Which is crazy because I haven't watched one UNC game since being back west. (I think she's taking after dad when the CATS are on)
In fairness, mom's ObGyn was out of UNC and my daughters first BB game at 7mo was UNC vs UVA at the Dean Dome. Coworkers from UNC hooked her up with some sippy cups that she drinks milk out of daily.

Re: NCAA Tournament Games
I think Nova better close out better on the 3-point shooters in the corner. They have been burned 3 times in a row.
Re: NCAA Tournament Games
Yeah, fun first half so far. Intensity all around.

Maybe UNC should just shoot 3's.
Re: NCAA Tournament Games
Great game. Has to be frustrating for Nova, because Carolina is not usually a good three-point shooting team. Anyway, some great individual plays.
Right where I want to be.

It's amazing how enjoyable a basketball game be when the refs decide to just let the players play and get the hell out of the way
