Re: Tattoos
I keep this portrait of my daughter in a frame on my desk at work, but I miss her when I'm away from my desk, so I had the portrait made as a tattoo. What do you think?

But in my book, you gotta get to White Castle before the weirdos show up!
Tonight he gets Happy-Go-Jackie on the big white guy like a donkey eating a waffle!
Sweet Sassy Molassey, get out the checkbook and pay Grandma for the rubdown!

I got several friends with some really, really bad tattoos.. I always cringe when I see an Arizona block "A" or a wildcat on someone, especially if they never attended the school.

Re: Tattoos
Going to get my daughters ears pierced when we visit NYC in 2weeks.
I'm looking for the sketchiest, albeit most hygenic, body-piercing/tattoo parlor I can find. I've heard good things about New York adorned.
Will post pics. It's going to be awesome.

My wife and kids like to watch Ink Masters - do any of you know Anthony?
He played basketball for Amphi and Pima. Played some pro ball in Mexico, apparently he was one of the better players in the old summer league - won their slam dunk championship.
My son talks to him all the time - they both work out at the LA Fitness on Golf Links. My son said he's a really nice guy.

Re: Tattoos
My daughter watches it and I sometimes watch it with her. The set up and continual whining and bitching of the contestants is a bit hard to take but this season they have a really strong group. If I am up to date, Anthony just held on free style drawing of a shoulder to shoulder eagle to avoid elimination when he essentially volunteered to be in that position. It was one of the biggest moments I have seen in this show.UAEebs86 wrote:

I'm sure with his new contract, Brock can fix it.

Well Anthony won the "Ink Master" title so huzzah.

If that actually does look like his son, there are multiple levels on which I pity that kid.

Better than some of the ones above.

Never seen a tattoo that improved the looks of anybody with one. Just don't understand why anybody would want to put a cartoon on themselves permanently.

Re: Tattoos
Not gonna lie, I’m a 43yo normie who has never been interesting in personal tattoos.
I appreciate art and love the folks and stories I’ve met over time, with tattoos.
But…I’m increasingly thinking of getting one…of Bobby pins.
My three daughters fucking rule, and there are Bobby pins everywhere. Also of I’m giving myself props, I can whip up a pretty good “dad bun” in a moments notice after years of practice.
Thinking of getting one with three Bobby pins somewhere.
Also read that Bobby pins are something that swingers tattoo to identify they are swingers, which I’m not. Again no judgment, just not my jam.
This gives me some pause….
BDW what say you? Cheers.

Re: Tattoos
I'm 66 with no tats, and neither do my wife and 3 kids.
Tastes always changes, but you are stuck with tats, usually for life.
I had a neighbor that had his wife's name tattooed on his neck. Then they got divorced and he had it tattooed over. Looks like hell.
Your wife may or may not always be your wife, but your kids will always be your kids. If I ever did get a tattoo, it would be them.
