25th Anniversary
Me and SWMBO are celebrating our 25th anniversary next summer and we're trying to decide what to do. We want to do something different. Our vacations over the last decade have been the typical Disney Land, LA, camping variety and we want something new. We're looking to spend a couple of grand. We're thinking about a nice cruise or one of those all inclusive resort packages. Any ideas from the peanut gallery here?

Portland/Oregon coast.
Denver and summer stay in the ski resorts in the Rockies.
Then again those are my perfect vacations

You can do all that for $2-3K?77HoyaCat4Ever wrote:Mediterranean: Barcelona, Nice, Italy, Greece

June-August is perfect weather if you're used to Arizona.

Turks and Caicos...about an hour flight south of Miami. It was the best week of my life until that point, with my wife. If you want info, PM me. We spent about 3 grand for a 10 day trip.

Dominican Republic is in that price range and it was really nice...
Re: 25th Anniversary
Looks like we are 95% go on the Alaska cruise. It will be about $2100 for the both of us plus airfare from Phx to Seattle and back. Should be a blast.

Take lots of pictures and watch out for bears!
Re: 25th Anniversary
Well, we booked it last night. Will be flying into Seattle Friday the 24th. The wife wants to visit the space needle Saturday morning. The ship sails at 4:00 PM on Saturday and returns the following Saturday morning. Stops include: Ketchikan, AK, Juneau, AK, Skagway, AK, and Victoria, British Columbia. Now it's time to nail down the details on what we want to do and what packages we want to add. The ultimate drink package is $79 per person per day. Includes all cocktails, spirits, beer and glasses of wine, soda and juices.

Nice, you will love it. We did the zip lining which was really neat and some rock climbing.
We are off to Niagra Falls next week to celebrate our 35th. Bucket list trip. Trying to get wife to drive to Cooperstown one day to see the HOF museum

Leaving the house in a bit over an hour, pick up the wife at work, then straight for the airport. Can't wait.

You can have the best of both worlds, the Cats game should be over before you shove off.
Cheers!!

I'd only catch the early innings as we board between 1:00 and 1:30.wyo-cat wrote:Enjoy the clouds!azgreg wrote:Now I know why Phoenix has very few clouds, Seattle has all of them.

Don't they have Wi-Fi on the boat so you can stream it? Or ESPN in the bars?
