I like them better than our regular unis. Not that it is a very high bar. I don't want to puke when I look at them, though, which is a start.

Yikes I know the new unis aren't great but anyone who would pick digital camo over the regular uniforms is seriously unbalanced. Camouflage is quite possibly the worst thing for human beings to wear and not look stupid as shit. Unless your life depends on it of course.

They're for Veteran's Day. At least there's a reason, as opposed to the gradients. Plus, at least it's vaguely uniform, as opposed to a camo pattern that changes into paisley. All the teams have worn them for these games.

Possible reasons for the gradient:

Instead of paying homage to our proud basketball tradition, these pay homage to the dumpster fire that is our current football team.
Returning to the nickname Rainbow Wildcats.
Two tone jerseys always go great. It's why the Raptors just overhauled theirs.
Nike needs to sell more uniforms, so we can't keep one for longer than two years.

I place a lot of blame on how we finished the game on our uniforms. Lucky we had a large enough lead to compensate. I keep thinking they're jokes, but they keep getting worse. We still haven't seen black and pink either.

The camouflage is our high point of the year. The pink is completely unrecognizable as an Arizona uniform. That's what I can't get past.

I agree....the red ones vs TAMU were absolutely hideous! As much as I love the Cats, it's harder to watch them when they are dressed like crap in some of these horribly ugly uniforms.

Agreed....I don't get how/why you use non-school colors in your uniforms! Other than white, and black for numbering......smh. Flat out disgusted at how silly and stupid we are looking while in most of these unis this year.

Asu's new primary football uniform colors of white, black, grey and copper confuse me greatly.

I actually like the red and copper ones better than the normal unis. Except for that part about them not being school colors and all. And the fact that they look red and gold, which is getting suspiciously close to rust and piss.

I sort of agree. They don't look bad, we just look like the Spanish national team. It's a decent look for Spain, and it lacks gradient.

yes. the shimmery sparkle motion crap needs to go.

only way i'll reconsider is if nike decides to add googly eyes and pipe cleaner trim on the unis.

+1. Sadly it also takes away from the pleasure of watching the Cats play live on those occasions I get to actually watch them too.....So in addition to hoping for a injury-free game AND a well-played one, I also have to hope for unis that aren't so ugly as to distract me from the actual game! Smh.

Seriously though, maybe this has been covered and I missed it, but why the need to F' with the unis so often? Do they feel like we will get bored with the older ones? Do the kids demand it?

Is there one single positive reason for the horribly ugly ones this year?
