Touchdown? Bullshit.

Hi defense, gonna need you to get some stops eventually here
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

At least everyone is playing bad equally on defense. This one goes all around. No rush on the QB, no push on the runs, DBs playing 10 yards off the receiver...
Re: Game 2, at UTSA
Parks is back on the field btw. (Yeah I already posted but I noticed it was the last post on page 3)

Our d also looks confused on the formations and are late lining up.

Which leads one to beleive that they are doing what the coaches told them to do. Staff needs to tweak things.

Re: Game 2, at UTSA
Year 3 and the 3-3-5 is as porous as ever. The NT position has taken a huge step back.................all the preseason blather about Worthy being better than Hood was just pure fantasy.
The scary thing is that every single PAC12 team we face with the possible exception of Colorado can put a better offense on the field than the one we are facing tonight. My 7-5 prediction is beginning to look like I drank too much Kool-Aid
We are going to have a boatload of Shoot-Outs this year punctuated by a couple of slaughters (e.g. Oregon). How many shoot-outs we can win will determine if we can get to the 6 win mark and back to a small bowl game.

I don't have a replay of it right now, but I stand by what I said, looked helmet to helmet to me.
Don't knwo what "constant ripping" you're referring to. But if I see a helmet to helmet, yeah, I'm gonna comment on it.

D is getting man handled. Still don't think we have the "guys" we need. D line looks awful.

Re: Game 2, at UTSA
Exactly. We stopped them on their first two possessions and they made adjustments. We need some adjustments to push them back to what they were having to try in those first series.UAdevil wrote:

Re: Game 2, at UTSA
The defender hooked his right arm. Way worse than any pushing going on.
Then they just flat out ignore a block in the back on that return.

I just got home from work, but wow, our run D looks bad.
And we give up a big punt return. This is trouble.

Re: Game 2, at UTSA
Please stop blaming the officials..........the lack of a single DL that can pressure the QB or get off a block is the root cause of the problem here.
