That wasn't the agreement. But I'd be very surprised if this game is closer than 10 points.UAEebs86 wrote:Beachcat97 wrote:

Will you just leave anyways? You pollute every thread on here and we're all tired of youUAEebs86 wrote:Beachcat97 wrote:

If AZ wins tomorrow, I'm gone.prh wrote:Will you just leave anyways? You pollute every thread on here and we're all tired of youUAEebs86 wrote:Beachcat97 wrote:

Nope.UAEebs86 wrote:Getting nervous BC?
I think it's ok to be a Fucla fan first but you really should change your name and avatar to reflect your loyalties...Beachcat97 wrote:Nope.UAEebs86 wrote:Getting nervous BC?
Hell yes.Main Event wrote:Glendale
This was the first thread I opened up this morning, since the Zo thread, although more recently written in, had been a source of frustration all year and I wanted to just read about tonight's game and people's thoughts. I read some of the posts, was wondering why people were talking, for example, about 9 player rotation being perfect, and then I made it to this post. Then I started getting annoyed. I'm thinking, "fuck that when we get Allonzo back we NEED him to be our alpha male scorer, taking pressure off everyone including Lauri. Fuck that why would he be getting annoyed with his teammates this year of all years? Fuck that why won't he start?RichardCranium wrote:Trier won't start yet, but he'll be first one off the bench.
If he shows signs of trying too hard to be 'the man' he'll be benched immediately.
If he gets burned on defense twice, he'll be be benched immediately.
If he is too impatient to wait for the right shot, he'll be benched immediately.
If he show signs of irritation with his teammates, he'll be benched immediately.
If he eases into the game, works into his rhythm, sparks his teammates, he'll be a star.
There are 20 more games before the final. We are 17-2 without him and lost those two games by a total of 11 points. We don't need a ton of points from Trier. We need good defense, decent offense assist wise more than point wise, and a great teamwork mesh. Scoring points is a bonus. All of that will come over the next few games, not first time up.
Everybody's gonna be hyped up for him to be back, me included, and his team mates included. But we really shouldn't expect a GOAT performance first time up.
Not if he's playing well.Longhorned wrote:So against UCLA, it should be Simmons's minutes that get cut back the most, right?
I guess I'm not picturing that in this kind of road game.Chicat wrote:Not if he's playing well.Longhorned wrote:So against UCLA, it should be Simmons's minutes that get cut back the most, right?

I think our perimeter rotation will now be heavily based in who produces on a given day. We have 5 guys who can do it. Who gets the most minutes is who is on.Chicat wrote:Not if he's playing well.Longhorned wrote:So against UCLA, it should be Simmons's minutes that get cut back the most, right?
If Allen doesn't guard Ball 99.9% the time both are on the court, I will be shocked.psiclist23 wrote:How many times do you think the coaches have watched the UCLA/OR game?
edit: Also, I won't be surprised if Alonzo starts just to guard Ball.
So, we're gonna make the tournament now?Beachcat97 wrote:Whatever happens tomorrow, getting him back is a game-changer. Legit FF threat now.

I would expect to see Simmons/PJC/Pinders minutes all decrease. I would think we have seen the last of the three bigs lineup with Pinder subbing for a wing player.Longhorned wrote:So against UCLA, it should be Simmons's minutes that get cut back the most, right?
That would be interesting, I can't remember ever seeing UCLA with three bigs on the court. I've seen all four guards and Leaf playing post.PennZona20 wrote:If we go 3 bigs, it will be dusan at 5, chance at 4 and Lm at 3. It won't be w pinder that's for sure. We won't see it much but Lm has proved he can play some 3.
