There are chemical reactions and chemical forced bondings that make you give up your lives for them and make you feel good about it. You can either enjoy it or reject it.

Last night my 4-year-old was screaming in the middle of Target about how his "peenie is a rocket" and that he had to pee. So I took him to the bathroom that was disgusting. 5 minutes later he's yelling again. "Daddy I gotta poop so bad!!!"

Love that kid. At least enough to take him into a public bathroom twice in less than ten minutes.

One thing about having kids is that you always know where the bathrooms are in stores.

I went a good 10 years without stepping foot in a public restroom. Now I visit them nearly every time I take the kids anywhere. Children don't give a fuck about your issues with germs and other people pooping.

Ari and LH, great advice. I do a lot of "guy things" with my daughter. She love helping me "fix things" around the house. She knows the names of tools and likes getting them for me and helping outs. It's really sweet and fun.

Wife and I are ambivalent about #3. We really want a boy, but not so much to ignore the costs associate with a third child. We'll probably stop at two but hold off on permanent birth control for now. But damn we are fertile. We're both in our mid thirties, but didn't have to commit to "trying". Some of our friends our jealous, I think I got the raw end of that deal. Lol.

Chi, I love it when my daughter says random things in public, she comes up with the randomest stuff, and words we don't use. But so insightful from the perspective of a 2yo's mind. It's awesome to witness. I don't know where she gets it because we are pretty strict with screen time.

I bet your thinking "that's my boy" when he said his pee pee what a rocket! Lol.

My philosophy is God/the universe/Gaia, etc entrusted me with this little being to train and get to adulthood, to teach to treat others with respect and to be decent human being/world citizen. It's a fantastic responsibility and I love it, even when she had a few misses during potty training last weekend. Lol

My daughter and I have a special bond that is different that the relationship with her and mommy. It's cool even if I can't entirely explain it.

Proud Dad moment!

My 9 year old son is currently a top 5 finalist in a statewide cooking contest for kids age 9-12. Last night they served their dishes to 100 people at a Suns game. It was so awesome. The next part of the contest is the online voting portion. Voting is now through Feb 21st. You can vote once every 24 hours per device. If you want to help my kid out... go to http://walkonaz.com/kids-cooking-challenge-vote/" target="_blank and vote for "Tovi"

Thanks for your help

You should take great pride in this, Alieberman.

I voted for Tovi. After he wins:

Alieberman: Congratulations! Let's go get a get a burger, and then a sundae!

Son: But, dad. It's better for us avoid fast food, and eat healthy vegetable dishes like sweet potato and parsnip mash instead.

Alieberman: Oh, son. That's just something people say to feel better about themselves.

Another way old age is like childhood. Visit lots of public bathrooms and always know where they are.

Tovi got my vote, although I was tempted to vote for Katie since that's my daughter's name.

Here is my oldest son. He went to LA to visit a friend and went to a comedy show. Out front he ran into Bob Odenkirk.

My son is the one with the beard.

Hey Merk.

My kid selected CalPoly. She's pretty jazzed about going there.

I see they have 8 breweries now in SLO. I'm going to have to try them all.

Took my oldest to his first actual Arizona game, went to the red/blue a few years ago. For any dad's out there, it is a little surreal to bring my son on campus and walk him around some old haunts. Had a great day

For surreal, wait until your son is a student and 21 and you are slamming beers with him at Circle K on 6th before a football game just like you did back in the day. That was me earlier this year.

Awesome ODogg.

My works for UofA so my boys are always on campus so it's not even weird anymore. In fact, they know where the places are on campus to take a dump and which bathrooms they can't use unless supervised (UofA library!)

Cute! I remember when my kids were small. Now they’re teenage chow hounds eating me out of house and home. The amount of eggs I cook on a weekly basis is insane. Over easy, egg sandwiches, eggs Benedict, basted, omelettes, French toast and tortilla espanol - it’s crazy.

They are so damn active in sports, its like I need a conveyer belt from the kitchen to dining room to keep up.

He didn't win and they didn't list the runner's up but basically kind of hinted to me that he got 2nd place. It was a great experience for him.

Son (18 and senior at Foothills) playing against Pueblo last Friday. He's the RT, so he's on the left side from the end zone. #62 in white. Looks like he has a pretty good block, gets #55 off balance and drives him into the end zone.

The game was game of the week by the Star, so I nicked the vid off of @HSTucson. We knocked of 4-0 Pueblo, 19-0.
