Need to find ways to score. Get the ball to Lauri even if it's on the perimeter. need Trier to step up and create shots that aren't bricks. Looked like we were able to defend better towards the end of the half, Lauri was on Landow.

Trier had a shitty, shitty half.

But anyone suggesting he should be on our bench and not be playing.... I don't have any words for that

Our % will improve if we stop rushing our shots. Our passing and timing has been off so when we get an opening we pull the trigger way too fast. If we're not going to go to the rim we need to move the fucking ball because they have real good on-ball D on the perimeter. We have a fair amount of O boards but we need to get more physical in the paint.

Especially with RA's splint likely to impact his 3 point shot. We're going to need the good Trier.

The Cats can win without AT. They did before he returned. I want the best players on the floor. If AT wakes up, fine.

Sorry alieb, I'm all for giving him a chance, letting him find his rhythm, but he's just a terrible teammate sometimes.

That's tie when you playing the Washington states of the world, but not in a one and done tourney.

I hope Miller chewed him out, let's him start, but keeps him on a short leash.

OK. A second single malt for the second half. This one has to taste better or I'm gonna kill the bottle.

It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

Why are we doing this? Just letting them run their offense. We've already proven we can't stop them that way.

We have to grok their two and three man game. That pick and roll goes either one of two ways and we suck at both of them.

Ok seriously, is anyone actually worried? Is this not exactly the kind of game we always win in the end? Cats by 5-8, but heartburn until the last 20 seconds.

I already like the way Trier is playing in this half. He is not forcing it. And yes, Ristic is a huge liability on defense and the boards. I'm surprised he's never learned to block out. He isn't aggressive enough and becomes a liability on the boards. I'd at least like to see him dive for a loose ball.

I'm worried so far as the players on the floor are behind the learning curve against this opponent.
