I'd be cursing and shouting too, the officials refused to call fouls throughout the entire game except between 4 and 7 minutes left when UK was driving to the basket. Refs are getting better at disguising the game changing calls but it's still pretty clear.

Bye Bye Duke. That leaves a lot open on our side of the bracket. No Duke, no Nova. Still a hard road but this could be the year. One game at a time. Making it to the championship game is definitely doable.

Because of HB2 Duke had to play in South Carolina. I wonder how much of an impact it had on today's games?

Or South Carolina. They just beat most people's favorite. They've certainly got a chance to get out of that region.

Just once I would like the cats bracket to blow open like the east. Right now it looks like the west is the hardest road. Doable but outside of xavier which is underseeded, lot of chalk held.

I'd say North Carolina, Kentucky, UCLA, Witchta St have the toughest region. We have nothing to complain about. Our draw is fantastic

Pac 12 tied with Big 10 and Big 12 with three teams in sweet 16. Conference of champions only needed four teams to do it.

Ah yes, that is true. Our draw is good, but I am worried about WVU's press should they top gonzaga.

Really? I worry about getting pressed at the end of games when your trying to run clock. Getting pressed throughout the games is different b/c I think we'd be pretty deadly hunting for run outs.

It's gonna be the us vs. Zags anyway and it's gonna be a brawl.

That's a great point Raising, every time I've watched WVU, they back their press off late in games. I don't care who we play, I think WVU is a much weaker team but there is the concern about the press. I'm happy to play Gonzaga again too, I just don't buy them being better than we are now.

That's why I think we're good against UCLA. A balanced team can limit UCLA's great offense and take advantage of the opportunities their weak D gives you. It's hard for an unbalanced team because beating UCLA in a track meet is difficult and a shaky offensive team winds up like Cincy.

Yep. Kentucky is just that too. If they get by them, they likely get UNC who I perceived to be well-balanced, but judging the ACC's success and their near-loss yesterday.... At this point, I think you pencil in Kansas, who is going to give UCLA hell no matter how good UCLA shoots. Three very tough games coming up for them, if they get through them that would be an amazing run.

Perhaps but Greenville isn't exactly a long journey from Durham.
