I'm a little nervous about RR turtling in the 4th quarters of games
That too. I don't understand it at all.

It's been a twilight zone for this program as long as I've been a fan. Dykes nearly got him last year, and he is really whitewashing the performance tonight.

Well Okie State beat UTSA 43 to 14 so that probably answer your question. Our Defense cant stop no body. That the reason u think UTSA and Nevada are good when a opponent don't play defense as good as themselves. I don't want too question 3-3-5 Defense since it year 3 in the system.
I'll take the win. Senior QB's are usually pretty good, especially ones with 3-4 years in the system. Don't forget, we punted TWICE. Aside from that, we stopped ourselves (the TO, and the early slide). Annoyed about the conservative play-calling at the end.

UTSA was within two touchdowns until the fourth quarter. They also lost their starting QB in the middle of the game and Oklahoma State is a good team. They gave FSU a fight @FSU.
That was too close. Anu Solomon made two big mistakes. The INT in the redzone and the slide. A 14 point swing. I'd much rather he make the mistakes now then later in the season. If he gets the first down and we score a TD the game is over then. Our offense was a force to be reckoned with. Our fourth quarter play calling was suspect and way to Vanilla. I think we open up the playbook a little more next week and take advantage of a very inexperienced Cal D
No reason to hold back now but mistakes like Anu made this week will cost us dearly in conference

Our defense is not terrific but they don't have to be. I think RR was trying to keep the offensive scheme as vanilla as possible as to not give study tape to conference competition. Offense will just need to score more and I think they can.
