I liked the gradients and the military appreciation uniforms.

What I HATED was the Red jerseys with regulation Blue numerals.
Thank God you're not visually challenged or color blind. Try seeing the numbers at night correctly from the press booth. Currently, I go to my favorite bars to see the game clearly. I would go to the games more but its frustrating when you have to figure out who is who from others. With Blue on Red, I get the numbers wrong. I'm surprised no one has picked this up.

Arizona Athletics needs to stop being LAZY by letting Nike just hand any old S**T to the team and take a MORE active role in the design.
Gradients and Military designs showed that thought went into the design. Last years crap with primary Red on primary Blue was was drab
and crappy. Arizona has a College of Fine Arts. Give them some play. It doesn't always work out but use what you have. BE Innovative. Don't let Nike in Oregon hand you shi*** gear.

For example, Ohio state got it right in the Michigan Vs Ohio State game recently. Ohio State had the Blue numbers on the red Jersey but only on the solders. They had regulation size white numerals on the Red jerseys.

Oh, and one more thing.
Don't most of the teams in the playoffs have helmet stickers?
If you want to play like the big boys you should look like the big boys. I mean, how much to helmet stickers cost?

I like the red A on matte blue helmet, I like the shiny red helmet, I like no more purple. Would've like to see a throwback but that is still a one-off they can do. I think I can buy a new football jersey now...the blue one with red lettering.

Well Nike has made it abundantly clear our football program is being downgraded to a club sport. I welcome our new West coast conference overlords as we tradition to a private religious school that prioritizes basketball and bat sports only.

Favorites are blue or red jerseys with white pants. All white is good. Shiny red helmet better than copper.

I'm not a huge fan, but it's definitely better. We upgraded from embarassing to decent.

The shoulder stripes remind me a lot of South Carolina's past designs, which may be why I'm sort of neutral.

I mean the fan support or lack there of and the quality of our football program or lack there of makes us Gonzaga pretty much. Well ok we can be Kansas then, but still. Speaking of KU, they have the same exact colors as us, and their uniforms are drastically better. They also have a gray alternate, which makes sense for us seeing as we have a gray alternate for literally every other sport, yet we never do it for football cause reasons?

Either way I have so many questions here. Why the cool red block A on the blue helmet, but not a blue block A on the red helmet (non shiny one)? That really was that much more complicated or something? Why no outline on the numbers to clean up the look and stop the whole "wait what number is that" issue? Why red and blue stripes on the white uniform shoulders, but no white stripes on the color uniforms, and instead MORE gradient!?!? These look like amateur uniforms all the way and don't feed me the line of "the kids love them" as that certainly isn't reflected in our recruiting and schools with more traditional sets recruit better than anybody. These uniforms barely qualify as an upgrade to the last ones and if anything are purely lateral.

Screw it though, it's football, can Nike just please right the wrong that they did with our basketball uniforms? We had perfection just 2 years ago and they gave us the oh so adored and requested gradients!!

Ugh.

I assume you're talking about RR. Look, I was more or less ok with firing him at the end of last year, but even I think that is hysterical. Prior to last year RR literally had the best winning percentage of any coach in Arizona football history.

Arizona football has historically had cancer. RR hasn't cured it.

Also, the uniforms are sort of growing on me. At a minimum, they are a massive upgrade.

These unis are definitely much better than the last ones and also better than the bra-strap looking things of the Stoops era.

Need a blue metallic helmet.

Also need a chrome/silver metallic helmet.

The A on the matte blue helmet needs some white on it.

The white helmet needs a fat blue stripe down the center with a red stripe inside it.

Also, there is a problem with the blue jerseys and helmet. If these are worn with blue or red pants, there will not be any white anywhere on the uniform. White is one of our colors.

I kinda like how the media complained about the numbers being hard to read so they respond with the worlds biggest numbers.

I'll reserve judgement for now until i see them in play but im pretty sure theyre better than the old ones

Numbers just needed to be outlined in white or be white. Bold blue atop bold red (and vice-versa) is hard on the eyes. Contrast is good.

I was hoping we'd work in some gray, like Ole Miss or NY Giants. Love those unis. Or move more toward the Houston Texans.

The fans have allowed it. Showing up to watch mediocre teams far too often. Arizona fan's have to stop accepting mediocrity and making excuses for it as well. RR and his laziness have back-handed the fans yet he still gets his paycheck. He should have been run out of town after last season.

Sure...ya uniforms are so fun. I would have never hired him yet good old GB did and then left Tucson in his rear view mirror while the football program burned. RR is one of a small handful of HCs that actually never got recruiting in any aspect. It's pathetic and scary. Now, about those coveted uni's.....the red block A on blue helmet is cool.
