Gronk needs back surgery.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Ugh...all these CATS injuries have me tore up.

Not that it's humanly possible to deface the Browns program anymore than it already is, but it would be all freaking time if this is true & Scooby lights it up with the Cards.....Irish27 wrote:

It is official and frankly I think he has a much better chance of sticking with AZ than he did in Ray Horton's system. Depends mainly on his speed and ability to shoot gaps. Our D-Line is light years better than the Browns, so that will be a huge help.Sid wrote:Not that it's humanly possible to deface the Browns program anymore than it already is, but it would be all freaking time if this is true & Scooby lights it up with the Cards.....Irish27 wrote:
He also could wind up a special teams player. I still can't believe Horton didn't even play him a single game with as epicly bad as the Browns have been.
Hopefully he makes it on the field Sunday, would be nice to see him out there in person at the last home game.

Watched Scooby last night. He looked awfully blockable. He didn't look good in pass coverage either. Hope he does better next week.

Re: Former Cats in the League
Flowers has been huge for the Pats since Dont'a Hightower went on IR. He also reps UA as much as anyone. Happy for him and Gronk. Now let's see if Foles can get to the SB, too.whatisee wrote:One of our higher rated guys who actually turned out to be a good player in the league. Nice to see Marquis utilized to his potential. When he played at Arizona, he could change direction on a dime. Never noticed a guy who could do it as fast as him.

Gronk and Marquis vs. Nick and David Fipp
Re: Former Cats in the League
Hell I am an Eagles fan (born and raised near Philly) on top of being a UA alum. So to say I am pretty stoked is a hell of an understatement. I guess Foles got tired of the media writing off the Eagles once Wentz went down.Bangkok Wildcat wrote:So damned proud of Nick Foles!!! Headed to the Super Bowl

Re: Former Cats in the League
No offense, but I never liked the Eagles until Foles arrived. Can’t believe Chip Kelly screwed him up there. Since I don’t follow them as closely, would appreciate your take on what went wrong. I thought Foles was tearing it up there until Kelly....thoughts? Thanks and BD.CatMG wrote:Hell I am an Eagles fan (born and raised near Philly) on top of being a UA alum. Re: Former Cats in the League
Your timeline was off. The year before Kelly got there, Foles had an ok season, QBR of 79. First year under Kelly, his QBR was 119. He regressed back to the mean the second year with a QBR of 81. Then Kelly traded him for Sam Bradford, which ironically enough, was worst haul someone has given for Sam Bradford, being the next time he was traded, he netted a first.Bangkok Wildcat wrote:No offense, but I never liked the Eagles until Foles arrived. Thanks Bug....I kind of thought my timeline was a bit off there....thanks for the correction. Still don’t think Foles for Bradford was a good trade for the Eagles IMO.MrBug708 wrote:Your timeline was off. The year before Kelly got there, Foles had an ok season, QBR of 79. I really don’t follow or am a fan of the NFL anymore EXCEPT for being a fan of the Wildcats in the league.
Re: Former Cats in the League
After Nick's great 2013 season, Kelly dumped Desean Jackson, their best receiver (for nothing in return by the way) which didn't help the offense. Foles wasn't playing that poorly (virtually impossible to live up to the year before) but broke his collarbone halfway through that season. Then out of the complete blue, Kelly traded Foles for Bradford during that off season. Foles goes to St Louis where QBs go to die. Luckily he then went to K.C. so when Pederson took the Philly job, he knew what he had in Nick. Hard to figure what Kelly was thinking but he did his best to dismantle the team. But he even failed at that because two years later they are in the Super Bowl. I imagine Nick will have a shot at a starting job somewhere. I believe he is still under contract with the Eagles next season.Bangkok Wildcat wrote:No offense, but I never liked the Eagles until Foles arrived. Can’t believe Chip Kelly screwed him up there. Re: Former Cats in the League
Adding insult to injury (Stoops starting Scott over Nick), John Elway, that eagle eyed QB expert, drafted Brock Osweiler over Nick. How'd that work out for ya, John?
