Would be nice if Winger, 97, Rey, Officer Craig, Taylor, DW99 (for the laughs!) all joined up (I'm sure there are plenty others I'm forgetting as well). I think most people will come around eventually, especially when football and bball start-up.

I made it over to the new site a couple days ago but just got an avatar & started posting this morning. I'm in to help in any way I can. I have a feeling all of the old faithful will be here by the beginning of the season. The community is going to thrive - it's feels obvious to me. Viva la Resistance!

Why does this whole discussion feel oddly like we are in a recruiting battle?

Once actual games start happening, there will be plenty of cross-posting and I imagine anyone who posted on goazcats before is not already so loyal to their "new" site that they would refuse to post here. That would be odd, and I suppose anyone wired like that wouldn't be all that valuable anyway.

This has been a pretty remarkable evacuation and new camp set up considering it is a college sports board and the month is June.

People will go where the majority of the discussion is.

If 97Cats or Winger or anyone else posts something at Scout and gets three responses but over here the same topic gets 200+ responses, they'll eventually realize where they will get the best discussion.

I pay for a Scout membership, but I'm really not a fan of that site. Really only good for the information, the rest of the board is trash imo.

I recruited HHM over here and I see that he's registered which is great. He indicated that Jason has rolled out the red carpet and the welcome wagon over there, and that he intends to concentrate his posting on premium and the freeboard there. Makes sense - Jason must be delighted by the migration. Don't blame him at all, and so many of you long-time veterans have a good rapport with and respect for him, Josh, et. al. from the old days at TOS.

Still, those guys have been posting on Scout premium forever and they were still active valued high quality posters at TOS. I don't understand why they wouldn't continue to spend some time with us over here. It's like some sort of wierd Scout coup in the wake MAO's reign of terror.

Sounds like Scout premium is all that and a bag of chips. I'll probably check it out later in the summer as we get closer to fall camp.

I'm here, but bitter that I'm only a 4*. I post on the sports boards a lot - I just only post when I have something different to say. I don't like the "Yeah, we rock!" posts; when I post, it's usually because I want to point out a contrarian view.

I am also still feeling sheepish over how I was sure Javelle Allen would beat out Anu for starting QB, and how loudly I was beating that drum.
