Re: Pac-12 game thread
A half game suspension and the PAC was cool with that?
If that was Ayton or Trier, Larry Scott would have made sure they were suspended all the way through the Pac-12 tourney just to ensure he doesn't have to hand CSM another trophy.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

My hatred aside, of course it's good if ASU loses. They're currently projected as the 1-seed in the west. Knock those f'ers out to Columbus.

They could be projected as a bubble team in the NIT, and I STILL would want to see them lose. Never put hatred aside. Sometimes that's all you have.

If ASU loses 3 in a row they'll drop maybe 10 spots.
We lose 3 in a row and dropped about 30.

UCLA just choked away a comfortable second half lead at Stanford. Going to OT.

And that's why you foul up 3.
Double OT.

I think furd is gonna be tougher than Udub.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Re: Pac-12 game thread
So these Pac 12 refs really know how to keep games from flowing. From the 87 fouls called in the zona game to the 43 times going to the scorers table in the ucla game to add .2 seconds to the clock. Just killing momentum and flow all day. We could have used 40 free timeouts in the Colorado game. WTH.

Re: Pac-12 game thread
USC looking good. They're contenders for the conference championship. Like we thought before the season.
Re: Pac-12 game thread
Yep. Took them awhile to get their shit together. If Boatwright is playing well, they're a handful. And a tough matchup for us. Metu vs. Ayton will be a good matchup. And Ayton will have to guard Boatwright because Ristic certainly can't. Quite a chess game with Miller & Enfield.Longhorned wrote:USC looking good. They're contenders for the conference championship. Sucks that USC shit the bed so bad in the non conference.
Re: Pac-12 game thread
It just seems to be the PAC way of doing things.zonagrad wrote:Sucks that USC shit the bed so bad in the non conference.
And (somewhat) unsurprisingly it takes ASU to do a reverse PAC. But then we always knew them to be reverse PACers, didn't we?

Re: Pac-12 game thread
It's hard not to appreciate how well their first five play together. Metu and Boatwright are effective bigs and their guards bring it all game long. Losing 3 straight to the Aggies, Ponies and Sooners speaks better of them than our non-con meltdown did for us, although the comparison isn't exactly symmetrical.zonagrad wrote:Yep.
