There is a special place in my heart for players who have stuck it out, stayed with the program, have contributed all they could, and got better each year..

Jamelle Horne. Mr. "I am only making the drive from the airport once."

If that shot stays down, he is a frickin' Tucson hero.

Dusan...please make the 3 for the Final Four!

Oh God my heart... please don't let it come down to a Ristic three for the win.

Weirdly, of anyone on the team, Dusan would be close to the top of my list to take a 3 that the Final Four rested on.

That sure brings back some memories! Those 2 end of game bonehead plays by Jamelle sure made him the goat of the year.

On Ristic, Fran sure wasn't a fan of his defense.

But Fran was a big fan of his offense - loved when he said there are not too many big men in the country with his offensive game.

Ristic is arguably our steadiest, most efficient player. Well okay, after Ayton.

It's amazing how he's stretched his shooting game this year. Is he our best perimeter shooter? Seems that way at times.

I tell you what I'm more confident with Ristic taking a mid-range shot right now than Ayton.

Don't get me wrong Ayton is all-world but Duse is in a crazy zone right now. When he misses I'm actually shocked.
Sucked that his 3 pointer went in and out last night.

When they do miss they seem to end up in Ayton's hands for the put back.

He certainly should get a look in the NBA

If Dusan has an openish shot I'm upset when he doesn't take it now. If he gets the ball at halfcourt and he's open I fully expect him to shoot and for it to go in at this point.

Oh and I forgot to add if he doesn't make all league it will be a travesty.

But I guess we are sort of used to getting screwed.

He's getting his shot off much quicker now too. They have been able to work out the Ayton and Ristic on the floor at the same time issue because he is getting out of the paint more and is knocking them down. Hopefully Rawle can find his shot or some sort of rhythm between now and the tournament, then it won't even be fair.

Without a doubt. He has become one of my all time favorite Cats not only because he improved so much and has become one of our more consistent players but you can tell how much he loves our program.

Thanks Duse and get us to the FF this year!

Will really miss Dusan when this season is over. I think as fans we've been too hard on him at times but he went the distance all four years and I'm really proud of him. Winningest Cat of all time!!! Congrats Dusan and Thank You!

He might go above trier.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Dusan loves Tucson

Back attcha big man.

Came here barely speaking English. Left here with the most wins of any Wildcat.

Dusan has been a sneaky favorite Wildcat for me. There have been times where I didn't understand what he was doing in prior seasons but he has put it all together and has just been rocking it the last few months. So steady and if we get to the last weekend he is going to be a big reason for that.

You measure a player by how his teammates respect him. Dusan has been far from the most talented player. But he's been a steady hand to a tumultuous season. And without him, we don't win the Pac 12 title. He's even likely to be blamed for us coming up short somewhere in the tourney format because of his defensive shortcomings or a cold shooting night. But he personifies the best of college basketball. He embraced Tucson and the UA. And the community is loving him right back. Guys like Kobi Simmons and Grant Jerrett and others who used the UA and the program as nothing more than a pit stop really missed out on something special. Had they stayed, they would have built some incredible memories and relationships that will last a lifetime and pay huge dividends down the road. It's a shame many players don't recognize that and instead are seduced by the short cut to a professional contract. Fans won't forget Dusan. He will always have a home in Tucson.

What’s sad is Because of Deandre, Dusan is not getting the credit he deserves as maybe one of our best offensive centers of all time

The guy has become money down low. Played really well at the end of the USC game and him and Deandre will be a load on the tourney

Really proud of him. Guy has done everything right and a true wildcat

Doesnt want to play second fiddle again I guess. Would be really dumb though to turn this down unless he gets picked up by another summer league team

I like Deuce and think he can be a pro, but I think back-up center is his ceiling in the NBA. Can't really imagine him starting against Towns or Embiid or Davis. Or Ayton!

Deuce should go straight to Europe and sign with a good EuroLeague / Liga ACB team. Get paid, have a home, and play on a pro team instead of getting jerked around in the G League trying to make an NBA roster.
