45 Issaiah Johnson
Johnson is a 6-1, 235 (+25 since signing), Freshman linebacker from Los Alamitos HS, Los Alamitos, CA. He was a December signee with Arizona after totaling 216 tackles (21 for a loss), 14 sacks, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble in his career. As a Senior Johnson was first team all CIF and his leagues defensive player of the year. Johnson is considered a tackling machine and several local analysts think he has a shot for playing time this year. He is a name to watch for during camp.
57 is the Wildcat record for longest field goal shared by Jon Prasuhn, Pacific 1995; Lee Pistor, Iowa 1977; Max Zendejas, Arizona St. 1985; and Lucas Havrisik, Wash St 2017.

I think I've posted this before but when Max made the 57-yarder in '85 that helped knock the Scummies out of the Rose Bowl, I was in the end zone at SDS behind Max but my roommate was on the side near that end zone the kick went towards and swears to this day the ball was 3/4 of the way up the goal post when it went through.

Re: 57 Days Issaiah Johnson
Not to take away from their accomplishments, but Max and Pistor were able to use a tee for their field goal attempts. Think it was 1989 when the NCAA banned tees for field goal attempts.
That's why Max never made it in the NFL, they had already stopped using tees and and Max couldn't adjust to kicking off the ground.

I listened to that game on the radio and I believe the announcers said that kick would have been good from 70.UAEebs86 wrote:ANGCatFan wrote:
