I wonder how that is going to work. Will Luke turn into tyronn Lue? Maybe Lebron just wants to play ball and not make any decisions about it.
Speaking of Lebron, wanna bet Kawhi and LBJ already have it planned out. The spurs will be forced to trade him to LA since he is of limited use to anyone else. And maybe LA will give up something to get him now. Also already planned out before LBJ arrived.

Think you have it backwards.
Walton isn't a bad coach for LeBron. Being very heavy handed won't work with LeBron. He knows he's a hall of famer and the center of any franchise. Walton seems easygoing enough to have navigated Lavar Ball's BS without blowing up any relationships. Bringing the same balance and lack of need to be controlling will serve well with LeBron.
More than Gilberts highest year. Is he now the top paid Wildcat?
Yes
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

LeBron needs a Phil Jackson, not a Bobby Knight.
Wonder if Walton, as a high BBIQ forward with great passing vision, is in a particularly good spot to scheme for LeBron.

I would think so. The other aspect is that of all the recent coaches LeBron has had, I feel like Luke has a great chance to be respected by LeBron, which is just as critical. It didn't seem like LeBron respected David Blatt, and I can't imagine he respected Lue very much (a coach who forgot to play Korver because of matchups? among other issues). Even in Miami, he respected Pat Riley and Riley convinced him to give Spoelstra a chance.

With LeBron, I think it's a mix of liking and respecting a coach. He respected Spoelstra because he had Riley's backing. He liked Lue. He didn't like or respect Blatt.
Walton's involvement with Golden State should hopefully bring some respect. LeBron is far enough along that Walton will hopefully let him do his thing and design around him. He's the best player on the planet and really high IQ. Knowing how to channel him without being overbearing and causing conflict will be the challenge.
Now that Rondo is on side, how about LA trades Ball to Philly, straight up, for TJ. Everybody wins. Well maybe not - LA might have to sweeten the deal a bit.
Any sufficiently advanced troll is indistinguishable from a genuine kook.
Ultimate journeyman. 2 years with the Knicks, 2 with the Blazers, 5 with the Suns, 2 with the magic, 2 with the Cavs, couple months with the Lakers and then back to the Cavs.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
Not on the Celtics roster today for summer league play.
Hope something happens for him, we would have been a different team this year with a fire like his. Love his drive. Someone will see that.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.
