Wish we didn’t press there. Just gave up a 2 with little time off the clock.

Come on make them use more clock than that
Re: Game 8, at UConn (2018-2019)
We should just foul on defense after a couple of seconds. We have to foul 3x for them to even get to the ft line

Re: Game 8, at UConn (2018-2019)
Boom. Great win Cats! Made your free throws and closed it out.
Colemen needs to work on controlling the end of the game though.

Good win Cats! Took till the end to put 'em away but nonetheless a true road win and a lot clicked right.

It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

Kids are growing up fast. The Brandons hit some huge ft's down the stretch. The whole team played with composure.

Hell of a win. Nice to watch the cats when it's not 3 am too

Bear Down on a great win!
At least ONE sport knows how to. Miller, always clutch! Jeter got screwed at the end, but it doesn't matter.
This is for all those years of having to eat crap losses to UConn. Keep sucking it Calhoun lovers!

Thanks. We didn’t play great but we also didn’t wilt. Let me tell you this was a very hostile environment and these kids showed some major league cajones.84Cat wrote:Way to represent ECC!EastCoastCat wrote:UofA!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't make a basket for the final 6:43. All our points came from the line

Gotta have someone that can make a bucket hen needed but if you have a few guys who can be nails at the line it makes it easier to get by84Cat wrote:We didn't make a basket for the final 6:43. All our points came from the line

Solid win. Was fun to watch
Re: Game 8, at UConn (2018-2019)
Today over Uconn, along with the Iowa State win could be HUGE. This was a tough road test and the Cats looks poised and composed. Very tough defense. Brandon Williams gets better every game. How about that one drive where he head faked to pass to the baseline and totally burned his defender? I don't see many defensive liabilities this year...do you? Big difference from a year ago. This seems more like Sean Miller basketball. Defense leads to offense. Fun team for sure.
On a side note, we finally get away from Bill Walton, but we have to hear about Uconn women's team for 75% of the game? Screw you ESPN.

The most annoying commentary to me was Seth coaching up UCONN on what to do each possession then sucking Hurley for getting a clean defensive set and easy bucket on offense

LOL, that and him having to define packline defense 1000 times. And I still don't think he understands what it is.PHXCATS wrote:billk78 wrote:Today over Uconn, along with the Iowa State win could be HUGE.
