Cats defense is unreal. Great help side when needed. Defensive stopper in Sam Thomas and a jitterbug in Ari McDonald

Found this about Coach Barnes. Quite a story. He is someone easy to like and root for. I have season tickets to football, basketball and baseball. Looks like I am going to buy some women’s tickets for next year. They will battle the best in the conference next year for sure

The way she talks about Tucson with such sincerity, you can’t help but support her. I swear she sat and watched Lute’s team on offense and pushing the ball and creating constant pressure offensively. She also is a genius on defense, switching and pressuring when needed.

I hope we give her a raise and lock her up for a bit because she earned that. So many people felt our job was a career killer and she just killed it. Plus she looks great :)

What does our recruiting class look like for next year? I hope we have a marquee game to start the year. Might be Penn St all over but I think this team can mentally survive that. Besides, you schedule it at McKsle and the 6th man will show up

Adia is special, it was of epic importance coming off the disaster of Polky's untimely passing and then the disaster the program endured after that, to hire Adia Barnes. She's that program's Lute. It was always going to be awhile before the NCAA's came back around for us, but the style Adia employs is what kids want to play, she's still in the process of building her roster, her way, but expect FAST FASTER FASTEST and then even FASTER!!!!! when she gets it to the pinnacle, and she will win lots of titles, she will coach lots of great ball players. Adia is the real fucking deal.

Considering the women's team has pretty much been the worst program in the conference for a decade, this is a pretty big deal.

Ever since Polkey's death, this program has been on hard times.

6 wins last year to 24 this year with a WNIT Championship is a huge success story. I mean we sold out for a reason. The Fans know how big the game was today.

Next year we make the NCAA's tourney.

Yep we are sadly talking worst program in every single sport at every single level (including club and intramurals!) in the conference. It had become so so so so so bad.

Anyone who has followed the program over the last 15 years knows just how bleak and nuclear winter things had gotten.

And a great recruiter to sell her vision to those recruits and transfers. The crowds should help make it easier in the coming years. Hope we can become a legit FF contender and not just a sweet 16 team like Charlie has up the road
