seriously...approach with 2 outs is the same as with none, extended at bat with fouls, gets the single.

Then the HR...

Approach, approach, approach. Easy to get a low energy AB with 2 out, no one on chance against a dominant pitcher. But a plate protecting AB with a single gets another set of eyes in the box and a little more pressure on the P.

Just kidding. Really, making it to OKC was the pressure valve. I don't think we have the depth of pitching to win the WCWS, especially in the current format. But to get a win in game one just opens possibilities.

And, yes...we will also be very good next year...

Absolutely huge game today (duh, right?).

Taylor pitched a ton of pitches, and even with that stingy ump not giving her the call off the edge of the plate like uw was getting, she just get goin and hitting her spots and fighting through it.

Go ice up that arm Taylor!

Rest of the team did great too. that APC catch in the 7th full run full extension, saved the game for us. that falls and game is over.

And of course the big time hitting comething through in the clutch with 2 outs to win the game. oh fuck yeah!
