We're going to the 5th.
New Wimbledon rule ends the 5th set with a tiebreaker at 12-12.

Probably the best final since Bjorg vs McEnroe.

Re: Wimbledon
This match should never go to a tie-break. It seems unfair.

Re: Wimbledon
So Federer goes ahead 40-15 and loses on serve. And then comes back 40-love and then wins the next 5 points. Now at deuce. What twists and turns. Incredible.

Re: Wimbledon
Damn it. Roger had his chances. He lost two match points.
Congrats to Novak
Congrats to Novak
Re: Wimbledon
Great match. Not a fan of Djokovic but he deserved the win. Never thought Roger would blow two match points while serving.

Being a Nadal fan, his first Wimbledon title against Roger was epic.Catintheheat wrote:Probably the best final since Bjorg vs McEnroe.

Re: Wimbledon
Utterly disgraceful performance by the Wimbledon crowd and was nice to see them put in their place.
Really pulling for Novak to take over the slams record and the weeks at #1 record. Hopefully he and Nadal keep running up the score in the H2H against Roger too (which is already a massive argument against the Federer as GOAT silliness).
Will never cease to piss me off that Roger gets such a pass for his arrogance while the media can't stop hounding Novak. Imagine if Novak said that his kids were disappointed that he only won a second place plate instead of "that gold thing. He would be torn apart. No one says anything when Roger says it.

Couldn't agree more. It's crazy the hate Novak gets imo he's the Goat.legallykenny wrote:Utterly disgraceful performance by the Wimbledon crowd and was nice to see them put in their place.

Re: Wimbledon
Berrettini wins the first set over Djokovic 7-6 after being down 5-2.
Edit: and then Djokovic comes back to win the 2nd, 6-4

Re: Wimbledon
Djokovic wins to tie Federer and Nadal for Majors titles. He's going to put up quite a few more, while Roger is about done and Rafa will maybe win a French Open or two.

Re: Wimbledon
He is but he’s also hilarious.
Did you hear what he said to the umpire about the lady making noise in the front row?
“I know who it is, she’s the one in the dress that looks like she had 700 drinks.”
Priceless.

Re: Wimbledon
Good match. K needs to work on the mental part at this level. Not easy for him. But still a world of talent.
Re: Wimbledon
Novak might be the most mentally tough tennis player I've ever seen in my short life.
