Have done this the past 2 years and the seats are not horrible. Leaves more money for booze & gambling.

There's one at the Monte Carlo called The Pub that has a pretty big selection. And it's right across the street from the MGM. Decent food too.Olsondogg wrote:Any good brewery's near the strip?

Funny you mention Shadow - I caddied there on extra board in the late 90's for 9 months before I moved to the casino side. And uh - no. Not for less than full rate. Still know some of the full time caddies & the head pro though. Once you get a full time gig there you're pretty much never looking for work.Jefe wrote:Definitely interested in that. Id probably have 3-5 golfers
You have any pull at Shadow Creek?

From something really small like range balls & putting course & drinks to a little more involved on a Par 3 course that takes an hour and a half to the whole she-bang of an 18 hole event.
I don't think we have a lot of golfers but I know we have a lot of guys who like to get together & drink. I could comp small stuff & get a killer deal if more than a few wanted to block off tee times. We'd really only be paying for drinks or bargain golf fees. I'm not trying to generate a bunch of revenue or anything. Just would enjoy giving back if guys would dig it.
If there's anyone who thinks the idea is interesting let me know via private message so we don't hijack this thread & if a couple people like it I can start another thread or something.
Can I go on record and state that we won't lose to uCla in the PAC tourney this year?salim'sheadband wrote:I've been to three Arizona games in the last two years, and two of them were losses to UCLA in the Pac-12 tournament. Getting sick of this shit.
