It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:
Re: Game 3, vs Texas Tech (2019)
There. NOW the game is over.
“The reality is that the hardest games to win are over teams on their home court. Teams that don’t play those games can spin it however they want, but what they’re saying is, ‘We don’t want to lose in our non conference season.’" - Sean Miller

Nice hold by the D there to seal the game
ok, now I can agree that we're not tempting the football gods.AZCatGirl wrote:There. NOW the game is over.

Now the big question. Can we avoid the let down against the worst UCLA football team in history?

Fair enough. I mean I didn't even think we'd win tonight so I should enjoy it for a bit.PieceOfMeat wrote:I"m going to enjoy this win for at least 24 hours before I worry about thatAZCatGirl wrote:Now the big question. Can we avoid the let down against the worst UCLA football team in history?

That run by Brightwell should do it. Color me surprised since I was sure we'd get destroyed in this game. Always glad to be wrong and proof why having rock bottom expectations and a purely negative outlook for Arizona football is always the most rewarding.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

28-14 Cats win.
And the way we finished this game, just, super impressive.
Nicely done Cats!

Now I fully expect us to get destroyed by 30 points by an 0-4 UCLA

Great work holding the fort down here in the Game Thread! I got home just in time to see the 99 yard drive. For the first time in something close to ever I accepted an invite to do something during a UofA game. Went to a Grease movie sing-a-long at The Loft. Don’t judge me.

Don't forget how emotionally responsible that decision is.ByJoveByJingle wrote:Great work holding the fort down here in the Game Thread! I got home just in time to see the 99 yard drive. I felt emotionally mature giggling at all of the sexual innuendo I didn’t pick up on the last time I watched Grease when I was in elementary school.Longhorned wrote:Don't forget how emotionally responsible that decision is.ByJoveByJingle wrote:Great work holding the fort down here in the Game Thread! Re: Game 3, vs Texas Tech (2019)
My daughters are in love with Mamma Mia.
So much we took them to a local theater and sing along which they loved! And got to meet the actors actresses afterwards
Now the role play the characters and sing the songs and act all the parts at home.
I’m just waiting for school to give us the talk about the appropriateness of the songs for a 5yo! lol
Reading out of a diary
“On August 4th was such an amazing night, dot dot dot!
“Voulez vous, I am looking for a man after midnight!”
I have three dads!

The wife and I saw Mamma Mia at the local playhouse, really enjoyed it, extremely fun movie.
I would even see Grease if it ever came there, but would hope since it's run by the local JC they would not have 30 something actors play high schoolers.
