Saw somewhere that Tate injured his hamstring late against Texas Tech which explains why he has been reluctant to run since. I'm afraid we are going to see more of the 2018 Tate for the rest of the year. Washington really exposed him and his reluctance to run.

He sat out the UCLA game because of a bad hammy. Gunnell started.

Or so he said. Tate's reputation as a malingerer is well known and I think Sumlin is tiring of it, hence blowing Gunnell's redshirt.

Will be interesting to see which Tate shows up tonight.

If the run out of the pocket at the first sign of pressure and then run the ball out of bounds 5 yards behind the line Tate shows up........then I expect to see Gunnell.
