Stanford will just run it down out throats and put it away on this drive.

Disagree..........OSU is very winnable and the scum game is likely a tossup.Gladiator Cat wrote:Not another win left in the season.

surprised the D got a stop there and held them to a FG.
O must score a TD this drive

Need a FG and TD, so either one would be fine.PieceOfMeat wrote:surprised the D got a stop there and held them to a FG.

Re: Game 8, at Stanford (2019)
we are playin' kinda slow for a team down by 2 scores and only 4 min left
Re: Game 8, at Stanford (2019)

Re: Game 8, at Stanford (2019)
I know the math, but disagree with you that either is fine. TD first makes a subsequent score easier. Driving for a FG is a lot easier than driving for a TD.Merkin wrote:Need a FG and TD, so either one would be fine.PieceOfMeat wrote:surprised the D got a stop there and held them to a FG.

That's assuming we get a get a stop on D after scoring of course.
Also need a TD first because if we were to allow a furd FG after it, we'd still be within 1 score.

Pretty sure their backups would have found success against our mid major defense. You said it yourself about our defensive recruits and how good they are.dmjcat wrote:Now the game is over

I don’t know how anybody could or would be willing to bet money on or against any team in the Pac. It’s just ridiculous. USC blast us, then has to rally to beat Colorado? It’s all a crap shoot.

I do chores while I watch now. Seems like a good call.
“The reality is that the hardest games to win are over teams on their home court. Teams that don’t play those games can spin it however they want, but what they’re saying is, ‘We don’t want to lose in our non conference season.’" - Sean Miller
Re: Game 8, at Stanford (2019)
How was that not pass interference???
Re: Game 8, at Stanford (2019)
Well, there's a way to end the game... ugh.
