Heading down to Tucson tomorrow for the game. It will be the first chance I've had to use my season tickets this year (spent two weeks in Europe on business in November).

Big game with lots of sub-plots

1) The current #1 program in the West (Gonzaga) against the former standard bearer in the west (UA)

2) AZ desperately needs a win to improve their seeding chances in the tourney. This game will offer the best chance of that other than perhaps the Oregon matchups

3) Few was quite vociferous about the need to "Severely Punish the Cheaters" in the off-season. It will be interesting to see the interaction between Miller/Few following the game

I will be watching with a Zags fan after having chaperoned my ten-year-old’s bday party at a trampoline park.

So, odds are that I will be a very salty bitch and my buddy will likely regret asking if we could get together for the game.

Early betting pushed the line down a half point to AZ -3. Cats need this more than the Zags and the crowd should be amped. Cats cover 86-81

It's obvious; the team who wins in rebounds wins the game. In game coaching is huge and Few is a better adjustment/in game coach. I think we play the Zags tough but come up short about like Washington did last weekend. 84-79 Zags sounds about right. I hope I'm wrong but my gut tells me otherwise.

So I’m going to the game with another member of the board and his esteemed SO. I had to buy 4 tix, so we have an extra ticket. I paid $90+ per ticket for seats in section 23 (middle level in the corner). If anybody is interested in going let me know. I’m open to any amount of remuneration per your ability to pay.

As the game draws nearer my confidence in a win is waning. I guess that would be normal and that win vs Illinois is certainly growing more impressive. Still something about not letting our gazelles run is nagging at me.

It might be because It feels like on the interior we can’t handle our business, born out in the Baylor game. Hoping we hit the glass and finish extra strong or else I just see a team that is almost complete but not quite there yet
