Been thinking this all week.

We are all ride or die until the final buzzer sounds in March, regardless of what's gone before.

Only if ASU loses. We need both to happen.

If we win and ASSu wins we're the 5th seed.

This sucks!!! Our PAC12 tournament seed is now ENTIRELY dependent on the outcome of the asu-WSU game. If WSU beats the scum we are the 4th seed.....EVEN if we lose to UW. If we beat UW and WSU wins we are still the 4th seed. If asu wins we are the 5 seed no matter what the outcome of the UA/UW game.

If WSU wins we play the winner of Colorado/UW on Thursday

If asu wins we play UW on Wednesday

Looking at this all the wrong way.

Opportunity to beat to UW two more times. Then face ASU to avenge terrible loss and knock them off the bubble

If we win and ASSu wins we'd only face ASSu again if we meet them in the final.

AZGreg is correct, if asu wins they are the 3 seed........opposite side of the bracket. We would only play them in the Final.

Our game, for PAC12 seeding purposes, is now completely irrelevant. Our seed is now entirely dependent on the outcome of the WSU-scum game.

Well I stand corrected. Go Cougs!!

ETA: still a possibility for asu to be a 4 and UA to be a 5 if Oregon loses.

You are correct.......but I don't think I would bet the house that UO loses to Stanford.

Currently, WSU 12, Scum 8

WSU has beaten asu 4 out of the last 5, so its not unrealistic to think we may still have a shot at a bye

I couldn't care less what our seed is in either tournament. Won't make any difference. It's entirely possible we won our last game of the season on Thursday night. I guess we'll see but my expectations are low. After all it's the epitome of Arizona basketball in March. It never ends well. Stay thirsty my friends.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

I know it doesn't matter since we weren't going to win the tournament anyway, but its always so depressing and weird when we play on Wednesday.

Actually if furd beats Oregon, asu is the 4 seed and we would have to play them in the quarters. As long as we beat Washington again

Start the walk-ons and fly home Wednesday night. Pritchard could fly to Vegas by himself and win the tournament.

Call me crazy but I think losing this game actually increases our chances to win the game on wed.

That is what I think, but I’m a straight up homer. Had a lot of very enjoyable times in vegas cheering on the Cats. It would be a shame to see them get bounced on Wed in back to back years.

I just think it's really unlikely that you beat a team 3 times in one season without losing to them once. Usually the better team will win 2 of 3. Hmm not sure what I'm saying right now.

I think playing Udub in back to back games is to our advantage. We just played against their zone and their athletes and have fresh tape to study. Also there was nothing on the line as far as improved seeding in the Pac 12 tourney. In other words we sand bagged that game. (Wishful thinking).

I’m an optimist as a fan, as I am in life. I’m sure I’m being naive to an extent, BUT I’m thinking we might win the pac tourney and go on a run to the second weekend in ncaa. Can everyone BEARDOWN with me? At least until we actually lose?

I like it. Keep it going as long as you can.

Personally, and in spite of my best effort to do otherwise and over 30 years as a diehard superfan, my tolerance for Miller's stewardship, and this year's team he assembled, has finally died inside me. I'll be at home tomorrow on vacation during spring break while my wife is at work and my kid is in school, and yet I won't even turn on the TV to watch the game.

Even a couple months ago I'd have been stunned by this development, and it's disorienting to me now. But it just kind of happened and I'm finally done.

Bear Down, Arizona fan...

... IMNSHO, may have been possible with first-round bye - Just seems impossible for this group to win four games in four days....
