If you were a fan of the University of Arizona basketball team, maybe you would.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Or any recruit that walks through the arena and is presented with all of the previous success players like Mannion have had, you know, A Player's Program

...just saying
Thank you! Please let this thread die. Personally I couldn't care less what happens to him. Huge disappointment.
Because your FRESHMAN year was better than 14ppg, 5+apg, 2+rpg, 1+spg, and a 2:1 ato ratio? (Most of which was spent with a back/hip injury) I agree he needs more time, but he’s getting feedback that he’s a first round pick. I’m sure you made tons of better decisions when you were 19 though.

The point is: Depending on players who have successful future careers after a single year working through their rawness and gaining experience at Arizona is largely at the expense of the program and its fans. Multi-year players who mature into skilled college players able to outplay one-and-done freshmen benefits both those players and the program.

Which is why the 2020 class is encouraging.

The NBA salary cap will probably drop around 20% which directly decreases rookie contracts. Seems like a big gamble for those 163 college early entrants whose stock could increase next year. Maybe I am naive and college wasn't really as awesome as I remember.

Would it surprise anyone to see Nico end up playing in Italy before he's 25?
