I think it's a little premature for that. JJ's only been coach for 4 full seasons, with 1 tourney appearance and 1 CWS runner up, albeit with Lopez's guys for the most part, but Lopez hadn't been to the postseason in the previous 3 years with a lot of those same guys. Going to the tourney 2 out of 4 years ain't bad, especially in a sport like baseball where you can lose your top recruits in the amateur draft before they even step foot on campus (like this year). Last year was Yeskie's first season on the coaching staff and they only played 15 games. I felt like they were gaining momentum before the 2020 season and got cut off with a 10-5 record.

We'll see what happens this year but waaaay to early to tell after 1 weekend regardless if they're 4-0 or 0-4.

Impressive tourney for us and the bats are alive! That is concerning about VV. Arguably one of our top two or three guys out of the pen (with Price and Flanagan)

TJ Nichols moved to 3-0 on the season and we beat Missouri 8-4 today. Looks like the team is really coming together nicely

After the wins over Oklahoma and Missouri, the Cats are up to #16 in the Baseball America poll. Brandon Boissiere was named the tournament MVP.

The best win was over Dallas Baptist. That was their home field and they are usually in the tourney. They beat up both those other teams

We are a lot better than ASSU in my mind. They were gifted their 5 runs. Maybe they are playing a lot of freshman but they seem small and not as mature physically as our guys. Hope we sweep them
