I'm most definitely human and make mistakes so check your score. I used the box score from the UA Athletics site for the numbers.

So, here's a question. Has anyone ever (before me doing it just now) gone from worst, to first, back to worst again in 3 consecutive RAP picks?

Did I just make RAP history??
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

Not that I remember.

It would be far more memorable had you gone from First to Worst to First . . . especially since you'd be tied for the overall lead right now.

One question - how do I know how many points I got for the individual game? I'm looking and I don't see the point break down for what my picks got. Am I just missing it? What I mean is how many points in the overall standings did getting 52 for the UC Irvine net me? 10? 8?

Thanks in advance. And again, you rock for running this Chicat.

I don't list how many points you earn towards overall standings, but first place gets 20, second place gets 18, third place gets 16, and so on. Top 10 all score points towards the overall standings. So you ended up getting 8 points toward the overall standings for finishing 7th in this game.

Later in the year we might do double points for big games (1st place scores 40, 2nd place scores 36, etc) as we've done in the past, but I haven't decided that. My personal feeling is that each game is as important as any other so we'll just keep it at 20 points for first place, but if we need to tweak it to keep it interesting that might happen.

First of all I want to thank you for running this.I know that I really enjoy playing. Having said that, I also have to point out what I think are a couple of mistakes in the overall standings.

1] I think I have 36 total points instead of 38. [ St Mary's = 8; CSUN = 14; Irvine = 14]

2] I think that Ryeguy29 has 22 points instead of 10. [St Mary's = 10; CSUN = 0; Irvine = 12]

As far as I can tell all the other overall standing scores are correct.

has it always been that only the top10 finishers each week get points? I thought it was 20,19,18,etc on down.

Due to the late start not that many posters are playing.

But it'd give me a chance at some damn points! (except when I end up last, as i've done in 2 of 3 picks so far lol)

So this got me thinking. For the Maui Invitational RAP I want to do something to get more people playing. What do you think of making this one interesting and for this tournament only we will submit one pick-set of players worth up to $50 and that will count for all three games. The top 20 people will get points and the points will go up as the games get more important: 20, 19, 18, etc. for Missouri. 40, 38, 36, etc. for Game 2. 60, 57, 54, etc. for the Championship.

So if you haven't played to this point but would like to, you can make up some serious ground with one set of picks. Is that too unfair to those who have already played? I mean, we have just as much of a chance to get points too, right? In fact, more so this weekend.

Thoughts?
