Payments, academic fraud (somehow every 5 star prospect qualifies academically for Duke, Stanford, UCLA, Indiana), jobs for parents, etc.

The Challenger Space Shuttle was go for a perfect launch, then the UA President got involved.

At this point, it Lloyd isn't the guy, it needs to be Damon. Damon has been on a bench coaching for over a decade, the last 5 as the head of a program. No other coach on our list, sadly, has anywhere near that experience. Again, I'd prefer a guy like Damon to get some tournament experience maybe taking a lower P5 job and turning them into a winner first, like Beard at TTech, but we don't have that luxury right now. And sure, Damon has a misdemeanor arrest for pot, but that was how many years ago? And now, in many states, it wouldn't even have been a crime.

Maybe one day JET will be a great head coach, but he's been on the bench for one year. He's not ready. We'd be throwing JET to the wolves much like Lavin was at UCLA. Again, at least Damon has some head coach experience, and did turn a bottom feeder into a respectable team, which isn't that easy given Pacific's location and facilities. It's not like Damon is an awful hire, but not one a team like Arizona should be looking at. Washington State, or Mississippi, yes. But not Arizona. Yet, here we are...because the UA President got involved.

The rumor is that President Robbins offered to provide plays for both basketball and football. If true -- I'd love to see Robbins questioned about this at the next news conference and exactly what those plays are and why he thinks he could offer a D1 football or basketball coach some tactical advice. Just put him on the spot at the absurdity of the notion.

God this is beyond depressing.

Damon- not up to snuff.
Pastner- makes up for being a cheater by not being up to snuff.
Beilein- ask recruits and their families how his comments that got him fired by the Cavs make them feel. Please no.

We fired a coach with a .700 winning record, no Book to cause trouble, and a preseason top 15 roster. A man who loves the absolute hell out of his players, recruits from good families, and kept finding student athletes that not only won games but were easy to root for. "muh but the final four". Could've just as easily happened this season or next if Bobby hadn't put his hands on the wheel of the bus as it nearly did in 2011...

What a stupid administration. Arizona won't get a dime from me until Robbins is gone and even then maybe ever again

As a UA fan you almost always think you're just a couple of wins away from a final four. And that's because we are. We're almost always top 16 in my mind, which means we should be able to make the sweet 16. From there it's anyone's game. Sometimes you get hot and the ball bounces you're way on the same day, like the Women did, like we did in 1997, and like it did for UCLA this year, and sometimes you run into Wisconsin at their peak of all time, or you hit Baylor like Gonzaga did. Whatever. So long as your breaking sweet 16 the final four is a lucky day away. And that's how I saw Sean Miller. He had us at the doorstep enough times that I had no doubt one of those times the bounces would fall out way. So I totally see what you're saying.

If they fired him because that wasn't good enough, and their answer for something better is Tad Boyle or Pastner...

I can't even begin...

He outlasted administrations. Don’t know how else to help you with your lack of comprehension. AD love to make hires and be seen as the smart ones who hired the winner.

It’s also hilarious you want to play semantics when you are this fucking stupid.
