Bowen has pitched better this year than Lopez.

The fact that Candrea started Lopez in the non-pac 12 game today is telling. I hope Bowen can step up and meet the challenge of being the Number 2.

Bowen started game 1 of this series. That is not something I would have expected ever occurring this year regardless of whom the Pac-12 opponent was.

I wonder if Bowen starting game 1 was an attempt to build confidence in Bowen.

It could be Candrea letting Lopez know she is not guaranteed anything.

Cats have 3 homers and lead 9-0 in the bottom of the second. Btw, the announcer doing this game is very annoying. He sometimes talks like Ross from Friends.

It's now 11-0 in the bottom of the second. Meono has three hits. Her hitting streak is now at 27. She is close to hitting at 480, which is unbelievable.

I don't know of many people who figured Hanah would be our pitcher in a game like this one tonight. She did a hell of a job out there.

That was a tough loss especially as Hannah had a perfect game going into the last inning. A single, sacrifice, then a walk off HR.

Need to get 2 wins next week against UCLA, which won't be easy. Need to get the runners in when they are in scoring position.

Yes they do. I’m hoping that she and all the seniors have a monster senior weekend against UCLA first.

Wish Jessie had gone to UCLA. Probably all that is missing from this UCLA team likely being a top 5 team of all time. Right now it's probably top 10 of all time.

Crazy that this is a down year for Arizona, but you guys are also third in the PAC-12
