I was just busting your balls with my last post btw.
Your sarcasm was so well hidden.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Remember we were a way too early preseason top 15 team with Mannion, Green, Nnaji incoming.
Or when we were preseason #3 with Ayton...
Count me in the group that likes being rated preseason no matter the ultimate result. Please don’t let us ever get to a point where we are a perennial afterthought during the offseason.

The media literally has no idea what this team is or how it'll be run, so I get it.

I doubt anyone does at this point.
We may still have roster changes, plus no real means for seeing how Lloyd's strategies will play out when implemented.
Rankings like this are about hype. Losing a key guy like Akinjo without offsetting him with Tyty or another hyped freshman, this is sort of expected, if not great.

Neither do I.

Good news for us and any program with a lot of turnover this offseason - coaching restrictions eased to allow for more personnel to act as on-court instruction coaches.
Same here. I’m like Tyrone Biggums in need of some info about players we are looking at. But I get it. Nothing is happening unless someone enters the portal at this point..or so I understand
I just noticed he hasn’t been active since the day that post was made accusing posters of stealing info or posting premium from TOS. Sucks it seems we lost a great poster over that.

Seemed to me Choo had his own sources. If both Scheer and Choo received the same news, whose to say it was Scheer's to own?
JMJ knows first hand about other sites stealing his posts. I think it was at the Goazcat's Premium Days when other sites (PGU?) would take his posts, and copy and paste them word for word on their site.

I think you can tell from JMJ's posts that Choo was one of the people Scheer was acccusing of stealing premium info.
I thought Choo had info at times Scheer didn't, but I don't have premium anymore. Maybe someone who frequents both sites could comment.
I’m on both. Choo def had his own info. Stuff he’d post here would not end up on the other board until things happened. That’s why I joined this board a few years ago was because Choo was/is the best.

Choo used to be a mod on premium when the site was Scout not 247 I'm pretty sure (different username however).
Always seemed to me he had info a lot of the times way before Scheer talked about or posted about.
PPU still blatantly steals Scheer's posts, just basically a copy/paste (a lot of it in their chat box).
Anyway, I doubt there's basically anyone here who wouldn't beg Choo to come back no matter what. A poster's sources is nobody's business on this board. No source is better or worse or more or less ethical than any other source. This isn't journalism.
PPU is all scumbags all the way, but that's just because they're assholes who pester people's spouses, fake their own deaths, and generally menace everyone at the expense of the program we follow. Who cares whether, on top of all the actual atrocities they carry out and support, they make public stuff that masquerades as content with some kind of exchange value? The stuff behind the paywall is basically pure nonsense, with some hilarity for the back-and-forth. It's like accusing someone of breathing the air out of your back yard.
You're golden, Choo. Nobody cares either way. This place is better with you. You dispense porridge to a humble village. You turn cream into cream cheese. And stuff like that.

Guys still transferring (to other schools) everyday - two more roster spots...
Nobody worth a damn has hit the portal in a while. I think the best opportunity to add good players will be when guys start withdrawing from the draft and they either consider transferring or cause someone else they are blocking to transfer.
Athletes in fall/winter sports like, football and basketball, would face a May 1 deadline to enter the transfer portal. Spring athletes would have a July 1 deadline in order to gain immediate eligibility. However, the council voted to allow a blanket waiver for this year only that sets the date for all athletes as July 1.

He wont have the same impact on high school recruits as the Jet did. I hope it is in a support position. If Jet leaves it will dry up our channel to pacific northwest. Anybody got any fn good news?
Mathurin misses the cut on the Canadian Olympic team (no surprise, there's no NCAA players who made the 12 man team.) Will likely play in the U19 FIBA event this summer instead... Mathurin is one of four Wildcats who could be in the event, along with the Tubelis brothers (Lithuania) and Oumar Ballo (Mali). Estonia didn't make the cut so Kriisa stays in Tucson. Same with Sweden and Larsson.
Ballo has been named captain of Mali's U19 team. Hopefully he can regain some of the magic that made him such a promising recruit coming out of the FIBA U17 event two years ago.
Dalen Terry was among the initial 26 man pool for our U19 team but missed the first cut to be among the 17 finalists.
Tubelis with a very nice 18 / 8 in a FIBA U19 tune-up game yesterday to lead his team in scoring and rebounds.
Tubelis and Latvia will play Benn Mathurin's Canadian U19 team on Saturday at 5am PDT in the opening game of the tournament.
I watched the entire game. Tubelis looked like the best player on either team. Ben couldn't get anything going. You should watch the end of the game with Nembhard. Lithuana was ready to throw down.
