Who couldn't love Dallas? Come on.
Kawhi took that personally.
That's okay. I say that especially because of Boban. Is there any poster here who doesn't have him as their favorite player in the NBA? And then you have Porzingis running all over the floor and doing everything at 7'3" with a roster that generally has no business being in the playoffs. And the only reason why they're here and taking the best-built WC team the full distance is Luka, who clearly doesn't even think much of himself while completely blurring any distinction between manipulating defenses and just screwing around for the fun of it.
Watching the Dallas Mavericks is the basketball equivalent of going to a Tom Jones concert. You don't do either with any seriousness, and you just kind of laugh throughout and then walk away from it smiling. Who doesn't root for the Mavs?
This Bucks-Nets game is weird. Based on the score, you'd expect awesome defense. But it just looks like two really gassed teams. Why? If either team puts in their scrubs, they'll run circles around the other defense.
Hard to see the Clippers beating the Jazz 4 out of 5.
On a different note, I'm happy for the Jazz. I used to hate on the Jazz, but everything has changed. They're an anti-racist organization partially owned by D Wade, in a beer guzzling, diverse city who loves the team. Every TV broadcast owes them more than showing a lingering shot of that scary white building as they fade into a commercial break during games.
I refuse to remember that the Utah Rapist was ever on the Lakers.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Pretty interesting that there was one report about Luka maybe not being happy with the front office and all of a sudden a bunch of people are looking for new jobs.

How can teams make trades while the season is still going on?
Just a guess, but I wonder if the dates and deadlines got moved around due to Covid.

I finally caught the replay. I mean this literally: Philadelphia wins that game and is a better team if you swap out Simmons for TJ and just pocket the salary difference. I'm serious.

Can someone please explain to me how Ben Simmons is a 3 time all star?
He does all these things that no one can apparently quantify … or adequately illustrate.
He does play defense, I’ll give him that. But Philly is the wrong place for some kind of specialist to be paid all that money. You better fucking score or that crowd will start throwing 9-volt batteries at you.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Im pretty sure I remember Simmons being all offense no defence in college. What changed?
He is not the only scoring option on a poopy team in a crummy conference anymore, and is no longer, by far the most talented player on the floor.
