How well do you have to shoot if your defense can't breathe without fouling!

Any questions about Ayton's value to this team?

Booker had a bad night but Ayton dominated, and then officiating took him out of the game.

I don't blame the refs for the loss but the refs sucked. Impossible to defend Giannis if you can't even get near him.

The Bucks won because they played a great game. They went on a run in the second quarter when Ayton rested, and that was that. But the Suns comeback in the third quarter was a gimmick because the alternative was Bearded Frank. Ayton is a great player and he's going to be a superstar. He's a huge reason why the Suns are the Suns, and he's indispensable.

Refs changed the way the game was played. A few no calls on the Bucks, yet Giannis was getting some ridiculous
calls.

Suns will play better in game 4. Expect Booker to find his shooting stroke, and the fat lady will be ready.

Agree - reffing changed throughout the game, eventually siding with the Bucks. Ayton put in foul trouble. Booker a bad shooting night and eventual benched. Every time CP3 rallied the troops Bucks started hitting big shots. Hopefully this is the bad game that the Suns get out of their system. Biggest worry going forward is the bizarre reffing.

How often do you see a game where a team takes 5 more threes and shoots 10 more FTs than the opposition, in a game that didn't have any late fouls to stop the clock? Booker also had a poor shooting game, and CP3/Book were a combined 2 for 11 from deep last night. The Buck's starting backcourt shot a combined 8 for 17 from three in comparison. Last night was one game where the Buck backcourt outplayed the Sun's. Can it happen two games a row? Probably not in my opinion.

That leaves Giannis. If the refs call a foul any time a Sun player gets within 6 inches of him, and Ayton gets in foul trouble again, Milwaukee can win any game. But if the Suns backcourt rebounds, Giannis may have to score 50 to win.

Scott Foster jinx continues for Chris Paul as Suns star loses 12 straight playoff game officiated by him”: A roundup of NBA referee Scott Foster’s questionable calls and Tim Donaghy association

The Donaghy association, CP3 history, and so much more: The History of Scott Foster in the NBA

Let’s start off with the connection to Scott Foster’s old pal, Tim Donaghy, shall we?

Now, if you thought the man of the hour was controversial, perhaps Donaghy will provide some perspective.

Just a few short years ago, the official admitted to betting on NBA games. He had a betting phone through which he contacted his bookies, middlemen, and even other referees. It got so bad, that the FBI, yes the Federal Bureau of Investigation had to get involved. And only then was there a confession.

Why does this matter? Because out of the many calls that were made through this gambling phone, 134 calls were made by Tim Donaghy to Scott Foster. Since this was revealed, Foster has often said that they were all normal, water cooler-type conversations. But, of course, no one believes the excuse.

Weren't most of the calls about 2 minutes long, and right before and after games?

Men just don't have that kind of social relationship on the phone. It would be like you called up Merkin before and after work every day.

I would think that Foster would be extra careful knowing that the eye of suspicion was upon him.

But then again, these are guys who run on the same floor as the greatest athletes the world has ever known and feel it in their hearts that the tens of thousands of people in the arena and the millions watching on TV are just DYING to see them make a dramatic charge call on incidental contact in the fourth quarter of a tie game.

Sarver is making a killing on these finals. I got tickets for game 5 this morning and paid $900 a ticket for upper level. That's the price for early access for being a season ticket holder! Last game I paid $700. Damn I hope there isn't a game 7.

And the Bucks can vaporize the first 10 seconds of every possession by hounding him. Get him the ball on the second pass and see if the offense flows better.

Ayton opens up so much of the floor just by moving back and forth through the lane. It’s really impressive.

If Booker's last shot was a Giannis shot there would have been three fouls called.

Suns can still win this but they need to play a complete game. Too many careless turnovers and terrible game by Chris Paul. His hand seemed to be bothering him. Booker should have had the ball on that last possession.

Seems like it. People are saying it's his injured hand. Those turnovers can't be blamed on an injured hand. And no defense can do that to a great point guard. It looked like an honest meltdown.
