Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
This is nuts. I haven't been this excited about the program in a long time.
The indoor practice facility, the improvements to the stadium, and a new head coach (who gives a shit) - it's all coming together for us to succeed on the field. Can't wait.

I’m starting to make some compound butter to put on my hat before I eat it.
I went a little bonkers when he was hired. I was wrong.
Good on ya, Coach Jedd.

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Now follow this up with Sterling Lane, Tyler Martin, the Juice Country boys and some solid Lineman and we have ourselves the best class we have had since the early Stoops years.
Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Need to add some 4 star juice there! Come on juice county kids

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
We flipped a kid from USC.
Huh…………
Huh…………
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Whoa, that is a big time recruit. He will play first year for sure. Now if we can get the big time 4 star kid from the same school and our offense will be upgraded immediately

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Still need some help on the lines, but Fisch and Co have completely turned around football recruiting here. At this point TMac just seems like a matter of time which I never thought I would say about a top 100 football recruit. Hopefully Carroll can make a push on the OL, I would like to see at least 4 in this class and it doesn't look like we are in deep with anyone else other than Travis Gray who just got a few crystal ball picks for Colorado.
Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Big News (admittedly late to the party)!
Keyan's offers from: USC, Arizona St, California, Colorado, Harvard, Miami, Nebraska, Utah, and Washington.
And I said, ‘That last thing is what you can't get...Nobody can get to that last thing. We keep on living in hopes of catching it once and for all.’ Jack Kerouac, On The Road
Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Gray picked CU and a LB picked Texas. Both got very late offers from those schools they picked over us

Sucks. Kind of knew it as when you don’t see a dancing cactus on Jedd’s Twitter feed it’s never a good sign.gronk4heisman wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 1:41 pmTravis Gray hurts, they went hard after him and do not have many options left on the line.
Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Dang that would be. #62 player in the class and #5 WR, offers from basically the whole Pac 12 and Texas, Florida, LSU, Notre Dame, Penn State, Oklahoma, Miami and Nebraska. 247 lists him as basically being down to Arizona, USC, Stanford and Oregon.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Word is its AZ and Oregon and we have his long time QB
EDIT: on a 8/11 podcast, Adam Gorney from Rivals said he thinks it’s between USC and AZ. He didn’t know who but gave a slight lean to USC because he said it’s just so hard for those kid’s to say no to them but he did say his best friend is going to AZ and Burnett did flip

Forget Nike. We have GGK, JFTA, JCA, and even Gordos
GGK = the GOOD GUYS at KALIL bottling company
JFTA = Jack Furrier Tire & Auto
JCA = Jim Click Auto
Gordos - " ... I mean do you really like Chimichungas!
What else am I missing?
(Am I showing my age yet? Do any of these even exist anymore since moving out in the early 90s?)
What 5 Star running-back wouldn't want to come here with that type of support. Watch our Phil Knight - Here we come...

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Sterling Lane and T-Mac's committment dates are not scheduled for today, I am hoping this is for an Olineman but I am not even sure who we are in on there.
Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
I’ve noticed he will tweet a few days before once it’s a lock, then the player announces shortly after.gronk4heisman wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 9:46 am Sterling Lane and T-Mac's committment dates are not scheduled for today, I am hoping this is for an Olineman but I am not even sure who we are in on there.

I am thinking it is Tyler Powell, 3 star TE from Phoenix based on Scheer's recent crystal ball pick.

Seems kinda lowly rated for someone with alleged offers from Auburn, FSU, UCLA, ISU and ASU

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
I’m sorry, but what does Karp expect Fisch to do in year one of a literal dumpster fire? Does he think UA coaches can go into the heart of Texas and start pulling in 5 stars?
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
I’m assuming with Karp’s level of intelligence he was expecting Fisch to bring in the NFL players he coached.
What a dick.

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
Tight lipped on this one. Many feel like TMac is leaning to Oregon, others think it’s 50/50.
Would imagine he gets home from practice tonight and announces. CJF might be on that coaches call

Re: 2022 Recruit/Commitment Thread
The national experts are picking Oregon, hopefully they are wrong. TMac would be our second highest recruit ever behind only Devin Ross.
